This market tracks whether Donald Trump will make a public statement insulting, mocking, or attacking an individual on June 30, 2026. The leading outcome currently stands at 3.5% on Polymarket, with resolution determined by credible reporting of any written, verbal, or recorded public statement by Trump that disparages someone personally or professionally using insulting language, derogatory nicknames, or similar negative characterizations on that specific date. Watch for any Trump statements released on June 30, 2026, as the resolution window closes at the end of that day.
This market will resolve to "Yes" if Donald Trump makes any public statement in which he insults, mocks, or attacks any non-fictional individual personally or professionally in a clearly negative manner on the specified date (ET). Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". This includes calling the individual weak, stupid, disloyal, a failure, using an insulting nickname, using other derogatory language, or using the negative form of a positive trait in a derogatory personal way (e.g., “He/She isn’t smart”). Negative forms used in reference to the individual's professional actions, policies, or decisions (e.g., “He/She isn’t being smart about this policy”) will not count. Policy disagreements stated without disparaging language will not count. A direct reference will qualify even if the individual is not named, so long as it is reasonably clear from context that they are the subject. Any written, verbal, or recorded public statement by Trump qualifies. The resolution source will be a consensus of credible reporting.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of YES shares directly represents the market's implied odds; higher prices indicate stronger conviction that the event will occur. Traders continuously adjust positions based on news, statements, and behavioral patterns. The order book depth and recent trade volume on Polymarket show how liquid and contested this market is, helping you gauge confidence levels among active participants.
This market resolves on Jun 30, 2026. Resolution depends on whether a public insult meeting the event criteria occurs before that deadline. The specific definition of what qualifies as a public insult—including medium, audience size, and tone—is established in the market's resolution criteria. Traders should review the full event terms to understand edge cases and ambiguous scenarios. Once the deadline passes, the outcome is determined and all shares settle accordingly, with winners receiving their payout and losers losing their stake.
Several catalysts could shift odds on this market. Major political events, campaign announcements, or media appearances create opportunities for public statements that might include insults. Social media activity, press conferences, and debate participation are high-visibility moments where such behavior could occur. Changes in Trump's public schedule or health, shifts in media coverage intensity, and proximity to the resolution date all influence trader sentiment. Additionally, any prior incidents of similar behavior or public statements about his communication style may prompt market repricing as traders update their probability estimates closer to Jun 30, 2026.
