Frequently asked questions

The TXN Q2 Analog revenue market dashboard on Polymarket tracks real-time odds and historical price movements for this prediction on Texas Instruments' second-quarter analog segment revenue. Traders here are pricing their collective belief about whether TXN's Q2 analog revenue will exceed a specified threshold. The dashboard displays current market probability, 24-hour trading volume, and price history, giving you a live snapshot of how the prediction market community is positioning itself ahead of earnings season. This data reflects the aggregated conviction of all active traders participating in the TXN Q2 Analog revenue market.

Prediction market odds and traditional analyst forecasts often diverge because they operate on different incentives. Analysts publish consensus estimates based on models and company guidance, while prediction market traders put real capital at risk and face direct financial consequences for inaccuracy. This market aggregates the views of traders who believe they can outpredict the consensus, creating a dynamic pricing mechanism that can lead ahead of or lag behind published analyst revenue expectations. Comparing the implied probability here to Wall Street consensus can reveal where the market sees asymmetric risk or information gaps.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker (AMM) model where traders buy and sell shares representing yes or no outcomes. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the current probability assigned by the market; as more traders buy yes shares, the price rises and the implied probability of TXN's Q2 analog revenue exceeding the threshold increases. Conversely, selling pressure lowers the price. Your entry and exit prices depend on the order flow and liquidity available at the moment of your trade, creating a continuous price discovery process throughout the market's lifetime.

This market resolves around Jul 22, 2026, once Texas Instruments reports its Q2 earnings and the analog revenue figure becomes publicly available. The outcome is determined by comparing the reported Q2 analog revenue against the threshold specified in the market title. Once the figure is verifiable from credible public sources—typically TXN's official earnings release or SEC filings—the market settles to yes or no based on whether the actual revenue meets or exceeds the stated level. Traders should monitor TXN's investor relations announcements for the exact reporting date.

Several catalysts could shift odds in this market before resolution. Semiconductor industry trends, customer demand signals, and macroeconomic conditions affecting electronics spending all influence expectations for TXN's analog revenue. Competitor earnings reports and guidance revisions may reset market sentiment about the sector. Management commentary during earnings calls, pre-announcement warnings, or analyst downgrades can trigger sharp repricing. Additionally, broader tech stock momentum, supply chain developments, and geopolitical factors impacting semiconductor trade could move trader conviction. Watch for any TXN-specific news, industry reports, or forward guidance that might suggest upside or downside risk to Q2 analog performance.
