This market will resolve to "Yes" if the official closing price for Tesla, Inc. (TSLA) on the final day of trading of the specified week (normally Friday) is higher than the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If the final session is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Tesla, Inc. (TSLA) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/TSLA/history, published under "Historical Prices." In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance.

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst price targets because they reflect real-money conviction rather than consensus estimates. On this market, traders are directly wagering on whether Tesla finishes above a specific level, creating a dynamic probability that adjusts instantly with new information. Analyst forecasts, by contrast, are typically updated quarterly and may lag breaking news or earnings surprises. When this market shows significantly higher or lower odds than analyst sentiment suggests, it can signal either undervalued risk or overconfidence in the crowd. Comparing the two helps traders identify potential mispricings and validate their own thesis.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts order flow into real-time odds. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders buy or sell shares representing "yes" or "no" outcomes, and the price adjusts based on the ratio of capital in each pool. Higher trading volume typically narrows the spread and improves price discovery. The current implied probability reflects the weighted consensus of all active participants. As new information emerges—earnings reports, macroeconomic data, or Tesla-specific news—traders rebalance positions, causing the odds to shift in real time.
This market resolves around Jul 3, 2026, once the trading week concludes and Tesla's closing price is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by whether TSLA's final price for that week settles above or below the specified threshold. Traders holding winning shares receive their payout automatically, while losing positions expire worthless. The resolution process is straightforward and relies on widely available market data, ensuring transparency and eliminating ambiguity about the final result.
Several catalysts could shift odds significantly before resolution. Earnings announcements, guidance revisions, or major product launches would likely trigger sharp repricing. Macroeconomic data—inflation reports, interest rate decisions, or recession signals—affects growth stocks like Tesla disproportionately. Regulatory news, competitive threats, or supply chain disruptions can also sway sentiment. Intraday volatility, options expiration, and index rebalancing may create temporary price swings. Additionally, broader market sentiment shifts, analyst downgrades or upgrades, and insider trading activity all influence how traders position themselves in this market heading into the final settlement date.
