This market will resolve to "Yes" if the official closing price for Tesla, Inc. (TSLA) on the final day of trading of the specified week (normally Friday) is higher than the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If the final session is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Tesla, Inc. (TSLA) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/TSLA/history, published under "Historical Prices." In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance.

Prediction market odds and traditional analyst forecasts often diverge because they operate on different timescales and incentive structures. Analysts publish periodic reports based on fundamental research, while this market updates continuously as new information arrives and traders adjust positions. Comparing the current odds here to consensus price targets from major investment banks can reveal whether the market is pricing in more optimism or caution than the Street. Both sources offer value: markets aggregate real-money conviction, while analysts provide detailed reasoning.
On Polymarket, traders set the odds by buying and selling shares of each outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share—ranging from $0 to $1—represents the implied probability that TSLA will finish the week above the target price. Higher trading volume typically narrows spreads and increases price accuracy. You can enter or exit a position at any time before resolution, and your profit or loss depends on the final price relative to your entry point.
This market resolves around Jul 10, 2026, once the week of July 6 closes and Tesla's stock price is verified. The outcome is confirmed against credible public financial data sources to determine whether TSLA settled above or below the specified threshold. Traders holding the winning outcome receive their payout, while losing positions expire worthless. Resolution is typically finalized within hours of market close on the settlement date.
Tesla's stock price is sensitive to earnings surprises, product announcements, macroeconomic shifts, and broader market sentiment. Major catalysts include quarterly earnings reports, regulatory news, changes in interest rates, and company guidance updates. Geopolitical events or sector-wide rallies or selloffs can also drive significant moves. Traders monitor these developments closely and adjust positions accordingly, so any material news about Tesla or the auto industry could shift the odds substantially before the market closes.
