Description

As of market creation, Teladoc Health is estimated to release earnings on July 29, 2026. The Street consensus estimate for Teladoc Health's GAAP EPS for the relevant quarter is $-0.25 as of market creation. This market will resolve to "Yes" if Teladoc Health reports GAAP EPS greater than $-0.25 for the relevant quarter in its next quarterly earnings release. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No." The resolution source will be the GAAP EPS listed in the company’s official earnings documents. If Teladoc Health releases earnings without GAAP EPS, then the market will resolve according to the GAAP EPS figure reported by SeekingAlpha. If no such figure is published within 96h of market close (4:00:00pm ET) on the day earnings are announced, the market will resolve to “No”. If the company does not release earnings within 45 calendar days of the estimated earnings date, this market will resolve to “No.” Note: Subsequent restatements, corrections, or revisions made to the initially announced GAAP EPS figure will not qualify for resolution, except in the case of obvious and immediate mistakes (e.g., fat finger errors, as with Lyft's (LYFT) earnings release in February 2024). Note: The strike prices used in these markets are derived from SeekingAlpha estimates, and reflect the consensus of sell-side analyst estimates for GAAP EPS. Note: All figures will be rounded to the nearest cent using standard rounding. Note: For the purposes of this market, IFRS EPS will be treated as GAAP EPS. Note: For the purposes of this market, GAAP EPS refers to diluted GAAP EPS, unless this is not published, in which case it refers to basic GAAP EPS. Note: All figures are expressed in USD, unless otherwise indicated. Note: For primarily internationally listed companies, this market refers specifically to the shares traded in the United States on U.S. stock exchanges such as the NYSE or Nasdaq. In cases where the company trades in the U.S. through an American Depositary Receipt (ADR) or American Depositary Share (ADS), this market will refer to the ADR/ADS.

Frequently asked questions

On Polymarket, the Teladoc Health earnings beat market dashboard tracks real-time odds and trading activity for whether TDOC will exceed consensus earnings expectations in an upcoming quarter. The dashboard displays current market pricing, historical price movements, and 24-hour volume of $702 to help traders monitor sentiment and liquidity. This market aggregates predictions from traders who believe the company will either beat or miss analyst forecasts, offering a dynamic alternative to traditional financial consensus.

Prediction markets like this one often diverge from Wall Street consensus because they incorporate real-time trader conviction and forward-looking signals that traditional analyst estimates may lag. While sell-side forecasts are typically updated quarterly or after earnings calls, this market reprices continuously as new information emerges—earnings guidance, industry trends, or company-specific catalysts. Comparing the implied probability here to published analyst beat rates can reveal whether the crowd expects TDOC to outperform or underperform consensus, highlighting potential surprises before the official announcement.

On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader positions into real-time odds. Buyers of the "yes" outcome are betting TDOC will beat earnings; sellers take the opposite view. The price reflects the collective probability assigned by active traders, adjusting instantly as new positions are entered or exited. Higher prices signal stronger confidence in a beat, while lower prices suggest traders expect a miss or in-line result.

This market resolves around Jul 29, 2026, once Teladoc's quarterly earnings are publicly announced and verified. The outcome is determined by comparing actual reported earnings per share or net income against the consensus estimate established before the announcement. If the company's result exceeds that threshold, the "yes" outcome wins; otherwise, "no" prevails. Resolution is confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting.

Key catalysts include forward guidance from Teladoc management, changes to analyst estimates, telehealth industry trends, and macroeconomic shifts affecting healthcare spending. Earnings whispers, insider transactions, or competitor performance can also shift trader expectations. Closer to the announcement date, pre-earnings commentary from executives and any material business updates—such as partnership wins or user growth metrics—typically drive the largest price swings. Real-time news flow and options market positioning may also influence this market's odds in the final days.
