This market will resolve to “YES” if the “Close” price of the TradingView (https://www.tradingview.com/chart/?symbol=TWSE%3AIX0001) 1-day candle for the TSEC Capitalization Weighted Stock Index (TAIEX), based on regular trading hours only, is strictly greater than the price level specified in the title on June 5, 2026. Otherwise, the market will resolve to “NO”. For the purposes of resolution, all values will be rounded to two decimal places using standard rounding rules. If the Taiwan Stock Exchange is closed on June 5, 2026, the resolution moves to the “Close” of the prior regular trading session. If the TradingView data for the relevant 1-day candle is inaccessible or not published for more than 24 hours following the market close, resolution defers to the official TAIEX closing value for that trading day as published by the Taiwan Stock Exchange Corporation (https://www.twse.com.tw/en/page/trading/indices/MI_5MINS_HIST.html).
Prediction market odds on Limitless reflect aggregated trader expectations and often diverge from traditional analyst forecasts. While equity analysts publish target prices and earnings-driven outlooks, prediction markets incorporate real-time sentiment, geopolitical risk, and macroeconomic signals. Comparing Limitless odds to consensus analyst views on Taiwan's economic growth, semiconductor sector performance, and cross-strait developments can reveal whether markets are pricing in tail risks that traditional research may underweight or overlook.
On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Limitless, this event is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders submit buy and sell orders at their perceived probability. The spread between bid and ask reflects market uncertainty around Taiwan's equity performance on the specified date. Factors including Taiwan's tech earnings, central bank policy, and global risk sentiment influence the price discovery process. Liquidity and trading volume on Limitless determine how quickly the market adjusts to new information about Taiwan's economic outlook.
The market resolves on Jun 5, 2026, when the official closing level of the Taiwan Index for June 5, 2026 is published. The outcome is binary: either the index closes above the specified threshold or it does not. Resolution depends on the final TAIEX print at market close on that date. Traders should monitor official Taiwan Stock Exchange announcements and financial data providers to confirm the closing value and ensure accurate settlement.
Key catalysts for TAIEX movement include Taiwan semiconductor earnings reports, Federal Reserve and central bank policy decisions, US-China trade tensions, and geopolitical developments affecting cross-strait relations. Corporate guidance from major index constituents like TSMC and MediaTek, global tech demand cycles, and Taiwan's inflation and employment data can drive significant price swings. Currency fluctuations in the New Taiwan Dollar and broader Asian equity sentiment also influence index performance heading into June 2026.
