This market will resolve to “YES” if the “Close” price of the TradingView (https://www.tradingview.com/chart/?symbol=TWSE%3AIX0001) 1-day candle for the TSEC Capitalization Weighted Stock Index (TAIEX), based on regular trading hours only, is strictly greater than the price level specified in the title on June 26, 2026. Otherwise, the market will resolve to “NO”. For the purposes of resolution, all values will be rounded to two decimal places using standard rounding rules. If the Taiwan Stock Exchange is closed on June 26, 2026, the resolution moves to the “Close” of the prior regular trading session. If the TradingView data for the relevant 1-day candle is inaccessible or not published for more than 24 hours following the market close, resolution defers to the official TAIEX closing value for that trading day as published by the Taiwan Stock Exchange Corporation (https://www.twse.com.tw/en/page/trading/indices/MI_5MINS_HIST.html).

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst forecasts because they reflect real-money incentives and continuous price discovery rather than periodic published estimates. On this market, traders are betting directly on the TAIEX's closing level, which can incorporate forward-looking sentiment faster than consensus analyst revisions. Analyst forecasts typically rely on econometric models and historical trends, while prediction markets aggregate dispersed information from many participants. When this market's implied probability differs significantly from analyst consensus, it may signal either market inefficiency or that traders are pricing in recent developments analysts have not yet incorporated into their models.
On Limitless, this market is priced through an automated market maker or order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing yes or no outcomes. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the aggregate willingness of participants to accept risk at that level, with odds continuously updating as new trades execute. Liquidity providers and traders compete to set competitive prices, and the spread between bid and ask reflects market depth and uncertainty. As the June 26, 2026 close approaches, prices typically tighten as the outcome becomes more certain or as new data reduces ambiguity.
This market resolves around Jun 26, 2026, once the TAIEX's official closing level for that date is published and verified. The outcome is determined by comparing the index's actual close to the specified threshold, with the result confirmed against credible public financial reporting. Resolution typically occurs within hours of market close as official data becomes available. Traders holding winning shares receive their payout automatically, while losing positions expire worthless. The timing ensures all participants have access to the same verified information before settlement is finalized.
Major catalysts for this market include Taiwan's economic data releases, central bank policy announcements, and geopolitical developments affecting regional stability and investor confidence. Corporate earnings seasons and sector-specific news can shift index composition expectations. Global market movements, particularly in tech stocks and semiconductor demand, often influence the TAIEX given Taiwan's export-heavy economy. Currency fluctuations between the New Taiwan Dollar and major currencies may also impact index valuations. Traders monitor Fed policy, China-Taiwan relations, and international trade developments as these directly affect investor appetite for Taiwanese equities heading into the June 26 close.
