This market will resolve to “YES” if the “Close” price of the TradingView (https://www.tradingview.com/chart/?symbol=TWSE%3AIX0001) 1-day candle for the TSEC Capitalization Weighted Stock Index (TAIEX), based on regular trading hours only, is strictly greater than the price level specified in the title on June 19, 2026. Otherwise, the market will resolve to “NO”. For the purposes of resolution, all values will be rounded to two decimal places using standard rounding rules. If the Taiwan Stock Exchange is closed on June 19, 2026, the resolution moves to the “Close” of the prior regular trading session. If the TradingView data for the relevant 1-day candle is inaccessible or not published for more than 24 hours following the market close, resolution defers to the official TAIEX closing value for that trading day as published by the Taiwan Stock Exchange Corporation (https://www.twse.com.tw/en/page/trading/indices/MI_5MINS_HIST.html).

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst forecasts because they reflect real-money incentives and crowd wisdom rather than individual expert opinion. Traders betting on this market face direct financial consequences for accuracy, which can reveal information gaps or consensus blind spots in published research. Comparing the implied probability here to sell-side equity research or macroeconomic forecasts can highlight where the market sees risk or opportunity that analysts may have underweighted or overlooked.
On Limitless, traders set prices by buying and selling shares that represent yes or no outcomes. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market price reflects the aggregate belief of all participants about whether the Taiwan Index will close above the threshold on the specified date. As new information emerges or sentiment shifts, traders adjust their positions, moving the odds up or down. This continuous price discovery mechanism ensures the market remains responsive to real-time developments in Taiwan's economy and equity markets.
This market resolves around Jun 19, 2026, once the Taiwan Index's closing price for that date is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by whether the index closes above or below the specified threshold. Resolution occurs automatically once the official closing data is confirmed, ensuring all traders have access to the same verified information. No further trading occurs after the market closes on that date.
Key drivers include Taiwan's economic data releases, central bank policy announcements, and geopolitical developments affecting regional stability. Corporate earnings reports from major index constituents and semiconductor sector performance can shift sentiment significantly. Global monetary policy shifts, particularly from the U.S. Federal Reserve, often influence emerging market equities. Currency movements, trade tensions, and cross-strait developments may also trigger sharp repricing. Traders monitor these catalysts closely to adjust positions ahead of June 19, 2026.
