As of market creation, S&T Bancorp is estimated to release earnings on July 23, 2026. The Street consensus estimate for S&T Bancorp's GAAP EPS for the relevant quarter is $0.92 as of market creation. This market will resolve to "Yes" if S&T Bancorp reports GAAP EPS greater than $0.92 for the relevant quarter in its next quarterly earnings release. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No." The resolution source will be the GAAP EPS listed in the company’s official earnings documents. If S&T Bancorp releases earnings without GAAP EPS, then the market will resolve according to the GAAP EPS figure reported by SeekingAlpha. If no such figure is published within 96h of market close (4:00:00pm ET) on the day earnings are announced, the market will resolve to “No”. If the company does not release earnings within 45 calendar days of the estimated earnings date, this market will resolve to “No.” Note: Subsequent restatements, corrections, or revisions made to the initially announced GAAP EPS figure will not qualify for resolution, except in the case of obvious and immediate mistakes (e.g., fat finger errors, as with Lyft's (LYFT) earnings release in February 2024). Note: The strike prices used in these markets are derived from SeekingAlpha estimates, and reflect the consensus of sell-side analyst estimates for GAAP EPS. Note: All figures will be rounded to the nearest cent using standard rounding. Note: For the purposes of this market, IFRS EPS will be treated as GAAP EPS. Note: For the purposes of this market, GAAP EPS refers to diluted GAAP EPS, unless this is not published, in which case it refers to basic GAAP EPS. Note: All figures are expressed in USD, unless otherwise indicated. Note: For primarily internationally listed companies, this market refers specifically to the shares traded in the United States on U.S. stock exchanges such as the NYSE or Nasdaq. In cases where the company trades in the U.S. through an American Depositary Receipt (ADR) or American Depositary Share (ADS), this market will refer to the ADR/ADS.

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst consensus because they reflect real-money incentives and crowd wisdom rather than a single firm's model. While sell-side analysts publish earnings estimates and price targets based on proprietary research, this market aggregates the views of many traders betting on whether S&T Bancorp will beat those published expectations. Analysts may lag in incorporating recent data, whereas traders update positions continuously. Comparing the two reveals whether the market is pricing in more optimism or caution than the consensus view, offering a complementary lens on earnings risk.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader positions into implied probabilities. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Buyers of "yes" contracts profit if S&T Bancorp beats earnings; sellers profit if it does not. The contract price—ranging from 0 to 1—directly reflects the market's collective estimate of the beat probability. As new information surfaces, traders adjust positions, moving the price up or down. This continuous repricing mechanism ensures the odds stay current and reflect the latest available data and sentiment.
This market resolves around Jul 23, 2026, once S&T Bancorp's quarterly earnings are publicly announced and verified. The outcome is determined by comparing the company's reported earnings per share to the consensus estimate that was in effect at market creation. If actual earnings exceed that consensus figure, the "yes" outcome prevails; otherwise, "no" wins. Resolution relies on credible public reporting from the company and widely recognized financial data sources, ensuring transparency and accuracy for all traders.
Several catalysts can shift odds in this market before resolution. Macroeconomic data—interest rate decisions, inflation reports, and credit conditions—directly affect bank profitability and loan growth. S&T Bancorp's own guidance updates, management commentary, and peer earnings results provide early signals about the sector's health. Analyst estimate revisions and rating changes can reshape consensus expectations, altering the beat threshold. Regulatory announcements, deposit flows, and loan loss provisions also influence trader conviction. Each of these events typically triggers repricing as the market incorporates new information.
