Description

This market will resolve to "Yes" if the Close price for SpaceX (SPCX) on the final day of trading of the week specified in the title (normally Friday) is higher than the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If the two specified prices are exactly equal, this market will resolve to "No". Closing prices will be used exactly as published by Pyth, without rounding. If SpaceX (SPCX) does not trade at all during the regular session of the final trading day of the week, the market will resolve 50-50. For a standard full trading session, the closing price refers to the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle corresponding to the final minute of regular trading hours on the primary exchange. If the relevant session is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle corresponding to the final minute of that shortened session will be used. If the relevant day has no valid Pyth Close value for the 1-minute candle corresponding to the end of regular trading hours on the primary exchange, the market will use the last valid Pyth price achieved during the regular trading hours of the primary exchange as the effective closing price. If no valid Pyth price exists for that trading day due to a system outage, data failure, or other technical disruption, the official closing price published by the primary exchange on which the listed security trades will be used to determine the closing price for that day. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed security during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Pyth. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Pyth after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market will be Pyth, specifically the "Close" values for the relevant 1-minute candle for SpaceX (SPCX) available at https://pythdata.app/explore/Equity.US.SPCX%2FUSD.

Frequently asked questions

The SpaceX stock price market dashboard on Polymarket tracks real-time odds and historical price movement for this binary prediction event. Traders here are forecasting whether SpaceX's stock will close above a specified threshold during the week of July 13. The interface displays current market probability, 24-hour volume of $7,470, and cumulative trading activity, giving participants a live snapshot of collective sentiment around the company's near-term valuation. This data updates continuously as new trades flow in, reflecting how market participants are pricing the likelihood of the outcome.

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst price targets because they aggregate real-money bets from thousands of traders rather than relying on a handful of institutional estimates. In this market, participants are directly wagering on a specific price level by a defined date, which can reveal forward-looking sentiment that lags in formal equity research. Analyst forecasts tend to be more conservative and updated less frequently, whereas prediction markets react immediately to news, earnings surprises, and market conditions. Comparing the two can highlight where professional consensus and crowd wisdom align or diverge on SpaceX's near-term trajectory.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader buy and sell orders into continuous probability quotes. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome contract reflects the collective willingness of traders to bet on whether SpaceX's stock finishes above the threshold by the specified date. As more capital flows into one side, the price adjusts to balance supply and demand. Traders can enter or exit positions at any time before the market closes, and the final price at settlement represents the market's last consensus view of the outcome's likelihood.

This market resolves around Jul 17, 2026, after the close of trading for the week of July 13. The outcome is determined by verifying SpaceX's stock price against credible public financial sources to confirm whether it finished above the specified level. Once the event is verifiable from official market data, the market settles and winning positions are paid out automatically. Traders should monitor official stock price feeds and market announcements as the resolution date approaches to understand the final outcome.

Several catalysts could shift odds in this market before it closes. Earnings announcements, regulatory developments affecting SpaceX or the broader aerospace sector, major contract wins or losses, and macroeconomic shifts impacting growth stocks all carry weight. Broader market volatility, changes in interest rates, and investor sentiment toward private space companies can also influence trading. Real-time news coverage of SpaceX operations, leadership statements, or competitive moves by rivals may trigger rapid repricing. Traders typically monitor financial media, company filings, and technical price action closely during the final days leading up to resolution.
