Description

As of market creation, Rivian Automotive is estimated to release earnings on July 30, 2026. The Street consensus estimate for Rivian Automotive's GAAP EPS for the relevant quarter is $-0.78 as of market creation. This market will resolve to "Yes" if Rivian Automotive reports GAAP EPS greater than $-0.78 for the relevant quarter in its next quarterly earnings release. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No." The resolution source will be the GAAP EPS listed in the company’s official earnings documents. If Rivian Automotive releases earnings without GAAP EPS, then the market will resolve according to the GAAP EPS figure reported by SeekingAlpha. If no such figure is published within 96h of market close (4:00:00pm ET) on the day earnings are announced, the market will resolve to “No”. If the company does not release earnings within 45 calendar days of the estimated earnings date, this market will resolve to “No.” Note: Subsequent restatements, corrections, or revisions made to the initially announced GAAP EPS figure will not qualify for resolution, except in the case of obvious and immediate mistakes (e.g., fat finger errors, as with Lyft's (LYFT) earnings release in February 2024). Note: The strike prices used in these markets are derived from SeekingAlpha estimates, and reflect the consensus of sell-side analyst estimates for GAAP EPS. Note: All figures will be rounded to the nearest cent using standard rounding. Note: For the purposes of this market, IFRS EPS will be treated as GAAP EPS. Note: For the purposes of this market, GAAP EPS refers to diluted GAAP EPS, unless this is not published, in which case it refers to basic GAAP EPS. Note: All figures are expressed in USD, unless otherwise indicated. Note: For primarily internationally listed companies, this market refers specifically to the shares traded in the United States on U.S. stock exchanges such as the NYSE or Nasdaq. In cases where the company trades in the U.S. through an American Depositary Receipt (ADR) or American Depositary Share (ADS), this market will refer to the ADR/ADS.

Frequently asked questions

On Polymarket, the Rivian quarterly earnings beat market dashboard tracks real-time odds and trading activity for whether Rivian Automotive will report earnings that exceed analyst consensus expectations. The dashboard displays current market pricing, historical price movements, and 24-hour volume of $1,087 to help traders monitor sentiment around the company's next quarterly results. This market reflects collective trader conviction on whether Rivian's actual earnings per share or revenue will surpass Wall Street forecasts, making it a direct gauge of market expectations versus actual performance.

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst consensus because traders incorporate real-time information, earnings whispers, and forward guidance that may not yet be reflected in published estimates. While sell-side analysts typically update forecasts quarterly or after company announcements, this market reprices continuously as new data emerges. Comparing the implied probability here to the consensus earnings estimate can reveal whether the market is pricing in a higher or lower bar for a beat than analysts have formally set, offering insight into whether traders expect surprises.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that allows traders to buy and sell shares representing each outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the aggregate belief of all traders; a higher price means more traders expect Rivian to beat earnings, while a lower price suggests skepticism. Traders profit by correctly predicting the outcome, and the market's price discovery mechanism ensures that new information—earnings guidance, production updates, or macroeconomic shifts—is rapidly incorporated into the odds.

This market resolves around Jul 30, 2026, once Rivian's quarterly earnings announcement and results are publicly available. The outcome is determined by comparing Rivian's reported earnings per share or revenue against the consensus estimate that was in effect at the time of the announcement. If actual results exceed that consensus, the market resolves to a beat; otherwise, it resolves to a miss. Resolution is confirmed once the earnings figures are verifiable from credible public sources and official company disclosures.

Key catalysts include Rivian's pre-earnings guidance updates, production and delivery reports, management commentary on margins and cash burn, and broader EV market trends. Macroeconomic shifts—interest rate changes, consumer demand signals, or supply chain disruptions—can also reshape expectations for profitability. Competitor earnings results and analyst estimate revisions will influence the consensus bar that traders are betting against. Any material news on vehicle launches, pricing strategy, or capital raises could shift the probability of a beat, as traders reassess whether the company will clear the earnings hurdle.
