This market will resolve to "Yes" if the official closing price for Opendoor Technologies Inc. (OPEN) on the final day of trading of the specified week (normally Friday) is higher than the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If the final session is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Opendoor Technologies Inc. (OPEN) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/OPEN/history, published under "Historical Prices." In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance.

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst price targets because they reflect real-money incentives and live market sentiment rather than periodic research updates. While equity analysts may issue quarterly or annual forecasts for Opendoor, this market prices a specific weekly outcome with immediate feedback from active traders. Prediction markets tend to incorporate breaking news and intraday momentum faster than formal analyst revisions, making them a complementary signal. However, analyst consensus on broader company fundamentals can validate or challenge the market's directional bias over longer horizons.
On Polymarket, traders set the odds by buying and selling binary outcome shares—one for "yes" (OPEN finishes above the threshold) and one for "no." On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each share reflects the collective probability assigned by the market; a share trading at 0.99 implies a 99% chance of that outcome. Liquidity and order flow determine how quickly prices adjust to new information, and wider spreads between bid and ask prices indicate lower liquidity or higher uncertainty among participants.
This market resolves around Jul 3, 2026, once the trading week concludes and Opendoor's closing stock price is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by comparing OPEN's final price on the specified date to the threshold embedded in the market question. No further action is required from traders after resolution; payouts are distributed automatically based on which outcome occurred.
Earnings announcements, guidance revisions, or major company news can shift trader conviction sharply in either direction. Broader market movements—interest rate changes, sector rotation, or macroeconomic data—often influence real estate technology stocks. Insider transactions, analyst upgrades or downgrades, and competitive developments in the iBuying space may also trigger repricing. Short-term technical factors, including options expiry or index rebalancing, can create volatility in the final days before this market settles.
