This market will resolve to "Yes" if the official closing price for Opendoor Technologies Inc. (OPEN) on the final day of trading of the specified week (normally Friday) is higher than the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If the final session is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Opendoor Technologies Inc. (OPEN) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/OPEN/history, published under "Historical Prices." In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance.

Prediction market odds reflect real-money consensus from traders betting on Opendoor's stock price, whereas analyst forecasts typically rely on fundamental research and earnings models. This market aggregates dispersed information from participants with direct financial incentives to forecast accurately, often capturing sentiment faster than traditional equity research. Comparing this market's implied probability to Wall Street price targets can reveal where the crowd sees asymmetric risk or opportunity. Prediction markets tend to incorporate forward-looking sentiment that may diverge from consensus estimates, particularly around earnings surprises or sector shifts affecting real-estate technology.
On Polymarket, traders set the odds by buying and selling shares representing "yes" or "no" outcomes, with the share price directly reflecting the implied probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market price adjusts continuously as new information arrives and traders rebalance positions, creating a dynamic equilibrium between buyers and sellers. Liquidity and trading volume influence price stability; higher volume typically narrows spreads and reduces slippage. Participants can enter or exit positions at any time before the market closes, and the final settlement price is determined once the outcome is verified against credible public sources.
This market resolves around Jun 26, 2026, once the trading week concludes and Opendoor's closing stock price is confirmed. The outcome is determined by whether OPEN finishes above the specified price level during that week, verified against credible public reporting from financial data providers. No further action is required from traders after the resolution date; payouts are distributed automatically based on the final verified price. Early position closure is always available for those who wish to exit before the official end date.
Opendoor earnings announcements, guidance revisions, or management commentary on housing market conditions could significantly shift trader sentiment. Broader real-estate sector news, mortgage rate changes, or macroeconomic data affecting home sales velocity may also influence the stock. Competitive developments within iBuying or PropTech could trigger repricing. Short-term technical catalysts include insider trading disclosures, analyst rating changes, or unusual options activity. Market-wide equity volatility and sector rotation toward or away from consumer discretionary stocks may create secondary pressure. Traders monitor these signals continuously to adjust positions ahead of resolution.
