This market will resolve to "Yes" if the official closing price for Opendoor Technologies Inc. (OPEN) on the final day of trading of the specified week (normally Friday) is higher than the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If the final session is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Opendoor Technologies Inc. (OPEN) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/OPEN/history, published under "Historical Prices." In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance.

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst price targets because they reflect real-money incentives and live market dynamics rather than periodic research updates. While equity analysts may publish quarterly or annual forecasts, this market prices the specific outcome in real time, incorporating breaking news, earnings surprises, and shifts in trader conviction. Comparing the implied probability here to consensus estimates from financial research firms can reveal whether the crowd expects upside or downside relative to professional guidance. Both signals matter: markets react faster, but analysts provide deeper fundamental analysis.
On Polymarket, traders buy and sell shares representing "yes" or "no" outcomes, with the share price directly reflecting the probability of OPEN finishing above the target. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. As more traders buy "yes" shares, the price rises; selling pressure lowers it. The market price aggregates all available information and trader beliefs into a single, continuously updated odds figure. Liquidity and order flow determine how quickly prices adjust to new information, making active trading sessions more responsive to market-moving events.
This market resolves around Jul 10, 2026, once the closing price for OPEN during the week of July 6 is finalized and verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by whether the stock finished above or below the specified price threshold on the final trading day of that week. Resolution is binary: either the condition is met or it is not. Traders holding the winning outcome receive their payout, while losing positions expire worthless.
Opendoor earnings announcements, guidance revisions, and real estate market data releases are primary catalysts that could shift trader positioning significantly. Broader equity market volatility, changes in mortgage rates, and housing sentiment also influence OPEN's weekly trajectory. Insider transactions, analyst upgrades or downgrades, and competitive announcements from rivals in the real estate tech space may trigger sharp repricing. Macroeconomic surprises—inflation reports, Fed decisions, or recession signals—can reshape sentiment around growth stocks like Opendoor, moving this market in either direction as the resolution date approaches.
