This market will resolve to "Yes" if the Close price for Opendoor Technologies Inc. (OPEN) on the final day of trading of the week specified in the title (normally Friday) is higher than the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If the two specified prices are exactly equal, this market will resolve to "No". Closing prices will be used exactly as published by Pyth, without rounding. If Opendoor Technologies Inc. (OPEN) does not trade at all during the regular session of the final trading day of the week, the market will resolve 50-50. For a standard full trading session, the closing price refers to the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle corresponding to the final minute of regular trading hours on the primary exchange. If the relevant session is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle corresponding to the final minute of that shortened session will be used. If the relevant day has no valid Pyth Close value for the 1-minute candle corresponding to the end of regular trading hours on the primary exchange, the market will use the last valid Pyth price achieved during the regular trading hours of the primary exchange as the effective closing price. If no valid Pyth price exists for that trading day due to a system outage, data failure, or other technical disruption, the official closing price published by the primary exchange on which the listed security trades will be used to determine the closing price for that day. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed security during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Pyth. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Pyth after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market will be Pyth, specifically the "Close" values for the relevant 1-minute candle for Opendoor Technologies Inc. (OPEN) available at https://pythdata.app/explore/Equity.US.OPEN%2FUSD.

Prediction market odds reflect real-time consensus from traders with financial incentives to forecast accurately, whereas analyst forecasts are typically point estimates or price targets issued on fixed schedules. This market aggregates distributed knowledge from many participants, often capturing forward-looking sentiment faster than traditional equity research. Comparing the implied probability here to published analyst price targets for Opendoor can reveal whether the crowd is more or less bullish than Wall Street consensus. Prediction markets tend to update continuously as new information emerges, whereas analyst updates lag by days or weeks.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader buy and sell orders into real-time probability quotes. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Shares representing "yes" (OPEN closes above the threshold) and "no" (it does not) trade against each other, with the price of each share reflecting its implied probability. As traders accumulate positions, the price adjusts to clear supply and demand, ensuring the market continuously reprices based on new information, order flow, and conviction among participants.
This market resolves around Jul 24, 2026, once the trading week concludes and Opendoor's closing price for that period is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by comparing OPEN's final price to the specified threshold; if it finishes above that level, the "yes" outcome is confirmed, otherwise "no" prevails. Resolution typically occurs within hours of market close on the settlement date, after which winning shares are redeemed at full value and losing shares expire worthless.
Opendoor earnings announcements, guidance revisions, or major business developments could significantly shift trader positioning in this market. Broader real estate and mortgage market trends, interest rate changes, and housing inventory data may also influence sentiment around the company's near-term stock performance. Insider transactions, analyst upgrades or downgrades, and macroeconomic news affecting homebuying demand could trigger rapid repricing. Technical factors such as options expiration, index rebalancing, or large institutional trades may create volatility in the final days leading up to the weekly close.
