This market will resolve to "Yes" if the official closing price for NVIDIA (NVDA) on the final day of trading of the specified week (normally Friday) is higher than the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If the final session is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the NVIDIA (NVDA) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/NVDA/history, published under "Historical Prices." In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance.

Prediction market odds reflect real-money trader positioning and often diverge from traditional analyst price targets because they incorporate live market sentiment and tail-risk pricing. While equity analysts publish quarterly forecasts based on fundamental models, this market aggregates thousands of individual bets into a dynamic probability estimate that updates continuously. Comparing the two reveals whether professional consensus and decentralized traders agree on NVIDIA's near-term trajectory—discrepancies can signal either contrarian opportunity or analyst blind spots.
On Polymarket, traders set the odds by buying and selling outcome shares in an automated market maker pool. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome bracket represents a specific closing price range, and the cost to buy a share reflects the current probability assigned by the pool. As traders accumulate positions, the price adjusts mechanistically, ensuring that the market price always represents the marginal trader's belief about NVIDIA's weekly finish.
This market resolves around Jun 19, 2026, once the trading week closes and NVIDIA's official closing price is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by comparing the final stock price against the predefined price brackets offered in the market. Whichever bracket contains the actual closing price is declared the winner, and all traders holding shares in that outcome receive their payout.
Major catalysts include NVIDIA earnings announcements, guidance revisions, semiconductor industry supply-chain updates, and shifts in AI demand forecasts. Geopolitical developments affecting chip exports, competitor product launches, and broad tech sector volatility also influence trader positioning. Intraweek macroeconomic data—inflation reports, Fed commentary, or recession signals—can trigger rapid repricing as traders reassess risk appetite and growth expectations heading into the week's close.
