This market will resolve to "Yes" if the official closing price for NVIDIA (NVDA) on the final day of trading of the specified week (normally Friday) is higher than the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If the final session is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the NVIDIA (NVDA) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/NVDA/history, published under "Historical Prices." In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance.

Prediction market odds reflect real-money trader consensus and often diverge from traditional analyst price targets because they incorporate live market data and immediate repricing. While equity analysts typically publish quarterly or event-driven forecasts with longer time horizons, this market aggregates week-by-week sentiment from active traders who face direct financial consequences for inaccuracy. Comparing the current odds to consensus analyst views on NVIDIA's near-term valuation can reveal whether the market is pricing in more bullish or bearish momentum than the Street's formal guidance.
On Polymarket, traders buy and sell shares representing "yes" and "no" outcomes, with the share price directly reflecting the probability of NVIDIA closing above the target price by week's end. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market price updates continuously as new trades execute, allowing participants to enter or exit positions at any time before the resolution deadline. Liquidity and trading volume influence how quickly prices adjust to new information, so periods of high activity typically produce tighter bid-ask spreads and faster price discovery.
This market resolves around Jul 10, 2026, once the trading week concludes and NVIDIA's closing price is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by comparing the stock's final price on the last trading day of that week against the specified threshold. Traders holding winning shares receive their payout once the price is confirmed and the market is officially settled.
Earnings announcements, product launches, macroeconomic data, semiconductor industry news, and changes in AI demand forecasts can all shift trader positioning in this market. Broader equity market volatility, shifts in interest rates, and competitor developments also influence weekly price momentum. Real-time news flow and technical chart patterns—such as breaks above or below key support levels—often trigger rapid repricing as traders adjust their bets on whether NVIDIA will finish the week above the target.
