Description

This market will resolve to "Yes" if the Close price for NVIDIA (NVDA) on the final day of trading of the week specified in the title (normally Friday) is higher than the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If the two specified prices are exactly equal, this market will resolve to "No". Closing prices will be used exactly as published by Pyth, without rounding. If NVIDIA (NVDA) does not trade at all during the regular session of the final trading day of the week, the market will resolve 50-50. For a standard full trading session, the closing price refers to the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle corresponding to the final minute of regular trading hours on the primary exchange. If the relevant session is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle corresponding to the final minute of that shortened session will be used. If the relevant day has no valid Pyth Close value for the 1-minute candle corresponding to the end of regular trading hours on the primary exchange, the market will use the last valid Pyth price achieved during the regular trading hours of the primary exchange as the effective closing price. If no valid Pyth price exists for that trading day due to a system outage, data failure, or other technical disruption, the official closing price published by the primary exchange on which the listed security trades will be used to determine the closing price for that day. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed security during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Pyth. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Pyth after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market will be Pyth, specifically the "Close" values for the relevant 1-minute candle for NVIDIA (NVDA) available at https://pythdata.app/explore/Equity.US.NVDA%2FUSD.

Frequently asked questions

The NVIDIA weekly price market dashboard on Polymarket tracks real-time odds and trading activity for whether NVIDIA stock will close above a specified price level during the week of July 13. The interface displays current market probability, historical price movements, and $6,493 in total volume across all outcomes. Traders use this data to monitor consensus expectations around NVIDIA's weekly performance and adjust positions as new information emerges. The dashboard updates continuously as participants buy and sell shares, reflecting the collective prediction of market participants on the stock's trajectory.

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst price targets because they aggregate real-money bets rather than relying on individual research reports. This market reflects what traders are willing to stake on NVIDIA's weekly close, incorporating earnings surprises, macroeconomic shifts, and sector momentum that analysts may lag in updating. While Wall Street forecasts tend to be more conservative and slower-moving, prediction markets reward accuracy with direct financial incentives, sometimes leading to faster repricing of information. Comparing the two reveals whether consensus is bullish, bearish, or split on near-term semiconductor and AI demand.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader activity into real-time probabilities. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Shares representing each outcome trade continuously, and the ratio of buy and sell orders determines the odds displayed to participants. Higher trading volume typically narrows the spread between bid and ask prices, making execution more efficient. The price you see reflects the marginal trader's conviction, updated instantly as new positions enter the order book.

This market resolves around Jul 17, 2026, once the trading week concludes and NVIDIA's closing price is verified. The outcome is determined by comparing the stock's final close on the last trading day of that week against the specified price threshold. Resolution occurs after market close and is confirmed through credible public financial data sources. Winning shares are credited automatically, and traders can withdraw winnings or redeploy capital into other markets.

Key catalysts include NVIDIA earnings announcements, AI adoption trends, semiconductor supply chain updates, and broader tech sector volatility. Geopolitical developments affecting chip exports, central bank policy shifts, and competitive pressures from AMD or other chipmakers can also swing trader sentiment. Intraweek macroeconomic data—inflation reports, jobs numbers, or Fed commentary—may trigger rapid repricing. Additionally, major customer announcements or data center demand signals can shift conviction about the stock's near-term direction, causing sharp moves in this market's odds.
