Description

As of market creation, Nike is estimated to release earnings on June 30, 2026. The Street consensus estimate for Nike's GAAP EPS for the relevant quarter is $0.12 as of market creation. This market will resolve to "Yes" if Nike reports GAAP EPS greater than $0.12 for the relevant quarter in its next quarterly earnings release. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No." The resolution source will be the GAAP EPS listed in the company’s official earnings documents. If Nike releases earnings without GAAP EPS, then the market will resolve according to the GAAP EPS figure reported by SeekingAlpha. If no such figure is published within 96h of market close (4:00:00pm ET) on the day earnings are announced, the market will resolve to “No”. If the company does not release earnings within 45 calendar days of the estimated earnings date, this market will resolve to “No.” Note: Subsequent restatements, corrections, or revisions made to the initially announced GAAP EPS figure will not qualify for resolution, except in the case of obvious and immediate mistakes (e.g., fat finger errors, as with Lyft's (LYFT) earnings release in February 2024). Note: The strike prices used in these markets are derived from SeekingAlpha estimates, and reflect the consensus of sell-side analyst estimates for GAAP EPS. Note: All figures will be rounded to the nearest cent using standard rounding. Note: For the purposes of this market, IFRS EPS will be treated as GAAP EPS. Note: For the purposes of this market, GAAP EPS refers to diluted GAAP EPS, unless this is not published, in which case it refers to basic GAAP EPS. Note: All figures are expressed in USD, unless otherwise indicated. Note: For primarily internationally listed companies, this market refers specifically to the shares traded in the United States on U.S. stock exchanges such as the NYSE or Nasdaq. In cases where the company trades in the U.S. through an American Depositary Receipt (ADR) or American Depositary Share (ADS), this market will refer to the ADR/ADS.

Frequently asked questions

On Polymarket, the Nike earnings beat market dashboard displays real-time odds and price history for whether Nike will beat its next quarterly earnings expectations. Traders here are pricing in their collective forecast of whether the company will report earnings per share or revenue above analyst consensus. The dashboard shows current market probability, recent trading volume, and historical price movements, giving you a live snapshot of how the crowd is positioning ahead of the earnings announcement. This data reflects active trader sentiment on a single venue.

Prediction market odds and traditional analyst forecasts often diverge because they operate on different incentives. Analysts publish consensus estimates based on models and company guidance, while traders in this market put real capital at risk, creating a direct financial penalty for being wrong. Historically, prediction markets have shown competitive or superior accuracy to analyst consensus on binary outcomes like earnings beats. Comparing current odds here to published Wall Street estimates can reveal where the crowd sees asymmetric risk or information gaps that professional forecasters may have missed.

On Polymarket, traders set the odds by buying and selling shares that pay out based on the outcome. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of a YES share reflects the market's implied probability that Nike will beat earnings; a price of 0.65 means roughly 65% odds. Liquidity and order flow determine how quickly prices move in response to new information. As earnings approach, volatility typically increases and spreads may widen, especially around major news or guidance revisions.

This market resolves around Jun 30, 2026, once Nike's quarterly earnings results are publicly announced and verified. The outcome is determined by whether reported earnings per share or revenue meets or exceeds the consensus estimate at the time of the announcement. Resolution is confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting, typically within hours of the earnings release. Traders should monitor Nike's official investor relations channels and major financial news outlets for the announcement.

Several catalysts can shift odds before resolution. Macroeconomic data—inflation reports, consumer spending trends, retail sales—often move apparel stocks. Nike-specific events include product launches, supply chain updates, guidance revisions, and management commentary on demand. Competitor earnings or industry reports can also influence sentiment. Seasonal factors matter too; back-to-school and holiday shopping cycles affect near-term revenue expectations. Geopolitical developments or tariff announcements may impact margins or production costs, creating repricing opportunities in this market.
