Natural gas prices are sensitive to supply disruptions, weather patterns, storage levels, and macroeconomic demand signals. Unexpected production outages, severe weather affecting heating or cooling demand, and inventory reports from the EIA can trigger sharp moves. Broader energy markets, crude oil correlation, and USD strength also influence Natgas-USDC. Geopolitical events affecting LNG exports and seasonal demand shifts heading into late May create additional volatility. Traders should monitor energy news, weather forecasts, and inventory data releases as key catalysts before May 29, 2026.
