This market will resolve to "Yes" if the official closing price for Micron Technology, Inc. (MU) on the final day of trading of the specified week (normally Friday) is higher than the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If the final session is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Micron Technology, Inc. (MU) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/MU/history, published under "Historical Prices." In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance.
Prediction market odds on Polymarket reflect real-money consensus from traders betting on MU's price action, often incorporating forward-looking sentiment faster than traditional analyst price targets. While equity analysts publish quarterly earnings estimates and 12-month price forecasts, prediction markets distill near-term conviction into a single probability. Comparing the implied odds here to published analyst consensus can reveal whether the crowd expects MU to outperform or underperform consensus expectations by the week of June 1.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, this event is priced as a binary contract where traders buy or sell shares representing YES (MU finishes above the threshold) or NO (MU finishes at or below). The current price reflects the market's collective belief in the likelihood of that outcome. Liquidity, recent news about Micron's earnings, memory-chip demand, and broader semiconductor trends all influence the contract price in real time as traders adjust positions ahead of the Jun 5, 2026 resolution date.
Key catalysts include Micron's earnings announcements, guidance revisions, and commentary on DRAM and NAND demand. Broader semiconductor industry trends, memory-chip pricing cycles, and geopolitical supply-chain developments can also shift the stock significantly. Macroeconomic data affecting tech spending, central-bank policy signals, and competitive moves by peers like Samsung and SK Hynix may influence investor sentiment. Any major product launches or strategic partnerships involving Micron could move the needle before the week of June 1 closes.
