This market will resolve to "Yes" if the official closing price for Micron Technology, Inc. (MU) on the final day of trading of the specified week (normally Friday) is higher than the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If the final session is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the official closing price published for that shortened session will still be used for resolution. If no official closing price is published for that session (for example, due to a trading halt into the close, system issue, delisting, or other disruption), the market will use the last valid on-exchange trade price of the regular session as the effective closing price. The resolution source for this market is Yahoo Finance, specifically the Micron Technology, Inc. (MU) "Close" prices available at https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/MU/history, published under "Historical Prices." In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed company during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Yahoo Finance.

Prediction market odds reflect real-money trader conviction and often diverge from consensus analyst price targets. While Wall Street forecasts rely on fundamental models and historical valuation, this market aggregates dispersed information from participants with direct financial incentive to predict accurately. Comparing the implied probability here to published analyst ratings on Micron can reveal whether traders expect upside or downside surprises relative to professional expectations. Such divergences often signal where market participants see asymmetric risk.
On Polymarket, traders buy and sell shares representing "yes" or "no" outcomes, with the share price reflecting the live probability. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The market price moves continuously as new trades flow in, allowing participants to enter or exit positions at any time before resolution. Liquidity and order depth determine how easily large trades can execute, and the current odds represent the marginal price at which the last trade occurred. This mechanism ensures prices reflect up-to-date information about Micron's expected stock performance.
This market resolves around Jul 10, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once Micron's closing price for the week of July 6 is verifiable from credible public sources. The resolution hinges on whether MU finishes above the specified price threshold at market close on the final trading day of that week. Once the official closing price is published and verified, the market settles automatically, paying out holders of the winning side and returning losing positions to zero.
Key catalysts include Micron's earnings announcements, semiconductor industry demand signals, memory chip pricing trends, and macroeconomic data affecting tech valuations. Geopolitical developments, supply chain disruptions, or competitive announcements from rivals like Samsung or SK Hynix could shift trader expectations. Federal Reserve policy signals and broader equity market volatility often influence semiconductor stocks. Real-time news on data center spending, AI infrastructure demand, and inventory levels will likely drive intraweek price swings and shift implied probabilities in this market.
