This market will resolve to "Yes" if the Close price for Meta Platforms, Inc. (META) on the final day of trading of the week specified in the title (normally Friday) is higher than the listed price. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No." If the two specified prices are exactly equal, this market will resolve to "No". Closing prices will be used exactly as published by Pyth, without rounding. If Meta Platforms, Inc. (META) does not trade at all during the regular session of the final trading day of the week, the market will resolve 50-50. For a standard full trading session, the closing price refers to the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle corresponding to the final minute of regular trading hours on the primary exchange. If the relevant session is shortened (for example, due to a market-holiday schedule), the Pyth "Close" value of the 1-minute candle corresponding to the final minute of that shortened session will be used. If the relevant day has no valid Pyth Close value for the 1-minute candle corresponding to the end of regular trading hours on the primary exchange, the market will use the last valid Pyth price achieved during the regular trading hours of the primary exchange as the effective closing price. If no valid Pyth price exists for that trading day due to a system outage, data failure, or other technical disruption, the official closing price published by the primary exchange on which the listed security trades will be used to determine the closing price for that day. In the event of a stock split, reverse stock split, or similar corporate action affecting the listed security during the listed time frame, this market will resolve based on split-adjusted prices as displayed on Pyth. The target price will be adjusted proportionally to reflect any stock splits. Resolution will be based on the historical price data as shown on Pyth after any adjustments have been applied. The resolution source for this market will be Pyth, specifically the "Close" values for the relevant 1-minute candle for Meta Platforms, Inc. (META) available at https://pythdata.app/explore/Equity.US.META%2FUSD.

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst price targets because they aggregate real-money bets from diverse traders rather than relying on a single research team's model. While Wall Street analysts publish quarterly earnings forecasts and 12-month price targets based on fundamental analysis, this market reflects live consensus from participants who have direct financial incentive to forecast accurately. Both approaches offer value: analysts provide detailed reasoning, while prediction markets capture distributed information and adjust rapidly to breaking news or earnings surprises.
On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader buy and sell orders into real-time probabilities. Each share represents a claim on the outcome, and the price of a share reflects the platform's current odds. Traders profit by buying low and selling high, or by holding shares until resolution. The continuous pricing mechanism ensures transparent, liquid discovery of the true probability that Meta will finish the week above the specified price level.
This market resolves around Jul 24, 2026, once the trading week concludes and Meta's closing stock price is verified. The outcome is determined by comparing Meta's official closing price on the final day of that week against the threshold specified in the market. Verification occurs through credible public sources, ensuring all traders have access to the same factual data. Once confirmed, the market settles automatically and winnings are distributed to holders of the correct outcome.
Major catalysts that could shift this market include Meta's earnings announcements, changes to advertising policy or platform monetization, regulatory developments affecting social media companies, and broader tech sector movements. Macroeconomic data—interest rate decisions, inflation reports, and recession signals—often drive stock prices across the sector. Additionally, management commentary, user growth metrics, and competitive pressures from other platforms can trigger rapid repricing. Real-time news flow and options market activity may also signal institutional positioning, influencing trader sentiment ahead of the week's close.
