Description

As of market creation, Blackstone is estimated to release earnings on July 23, 2026. The Street consensus estimate for Blackstone's GAAP EPS for the relevant quarter is $1.33 as of market creation. This market will resolve to "Yes" if Blackstone reports GAAP EPS greater than $1.33 for the relevant quarter in its next quarterly earnings release. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No." The resolution source will be the GAAP EPS listed in the company’s official earnings documents. If Blackstone releases earnings without GAAP EPS, then the market will resolve according to the GAAP EPS figure reported by SeekingAlpha. If no such figure is published within 96h of market close (4:00:00pm ET) on the day earnings are announced, the market will resolve to “No”. If the company does not release earnings within 45 calendar days of the estimated earnings date, this market will resolve to “No.” Note: Subsequent restatements, corrections, or revisions made to the initially announced GAAP EPS figure will not qualify for resolution, except in the case of obvious and immediate mistakes (e.g., fat finger errors, as with Lyft's (LYFT) earnings release in February 2024). Note: The strike prices used in these markets are derived from SeekingAlpha estimates, and reflect the consensus of sell-side analyst estimates for GAAP EPS. Note: All figures will be rounded to the nearest cent using standard rounding. Note: For the purposes of this market, IFRS EPS will be treated as GAAP EPS. Note: For the purposes of this market, GAAP EPS refers to diluted GAAP EPS, unless this is not published, in which case it refers to basic GAAP EPS. Note: All figures are expressed in USD, unless otherwise indicated. Note: For primarily internationally listed companies, this market refers specifically to the shares traded in the United States on U.S. stock exchanges such as the NYSE or Nasdaq. In cases where the company trades in the U.S. through an American Depositary Receipt (ADR) or American Depositary Share (ADS), this market will refer to the ADR/ADS.

Frequently asked questions

On Polymarket, the Blackstone earnings beat market dashboard displays real-time odds and trading activity for whether BX will exceed consensus earnings expectations in its next quarterly report. The interface tracks the current probability, historical price movements, and 24-hour volume to help traders monitor sentiment shifts. This market reflects the collective forecast of traders betting on Blackstone's ability to deliver a positive earnings surprise, making it a dynamic gauge of market confidence in the company's near-term financial performance.

Prediction markets and traditional analyst consensus often diverge because they operate on different incentives. Traders in this market stake real capital on their conviction, creating a financial penalty for inaccuracy that analysts may not face. While Wall Street consensus typically reflects averaged estimates from sell-side research, prediction market odds incorporate forward-looking sentiment and real-time information flows. Comparing the two can reveal whether the market is pricing in greater optimism or caution than the formal analyst community regarding Blackstone's earnings performance.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader bets into continuous odds. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders buy or sell shares representing the outcome, and the price adjusts dynamically based on order flow and liquidity. The current odds reflect the aggregate belief of all active participants, with larger positions and higher volume typically exerting greater influence on the price. This mechanism ensures transparent, real-time pricing that updates instantly as new information or sentiment emerges.

This market resolves around Jul 23, 2026, once Blackstone's quarterly earnings results are publicly announced and verified. The outcome is determined by comparing the reported earnings per share or net income against the consensus estimate established at the time of the earnings release. If the actual figure exceeds the consensus threshold, the market resolves to a beat; otherwise, it resolves to a miss. Resolution is confirmed once the outcome is verifiable from credible public reporting and official company disclosures.

Several catalysts can shift odds in this market before resolution. Macroeconomic data—interest rate decisions, market volatility, and credit spreads—directly impact Blackstone's asset management fees and investment returns. Company-specific events such as major deal announcements, fund performance updates, or management guidance can signal earnings trajectory. Broader financial sector trends, competitor earnings surprises, and changes in investor sentiment toward alternative asset managers also influence trader positioning. Any material news flow or consensus estimate revisions will be reflected in real-time price adjustments.
