Description

As of market creation, Ares Management is estimated to release earnings on July 31, 2026. The Street consensus estimate for Ares Management’s non-GAAP EPS for the relevant quarter is $1.27 as of market creation. This market will resolve to "Yes" if Ares Management reports non-GAAP EPS greater than $1.27 for the relevant quarter in its next quarterly earnings release. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No." The resolution source will be the non-GAAP EPS listed in the company’s official earnings documents. If Ares Management releases earnings without non-GAAP EPS, then the market will resolve according to the non-GAAP EPS figure reported by SeekingAlpha. If no such figure is published within 96h of market close (4:00:00pm ET) on the day earnings are announced, the market will resolve according to the GAAP EPS listed in the company’s official earnings documents; or, if not published there, according to the GAAP EPS provided by SeekingAlpha. If no GAAP EPS number is available from either source at that time, the market will resolve to “No.” (For the purposes of this market, GAAP EPS refers to diluted GAAP EPS, unless it is not published, in which case it refers to basic GAAP EPS.) If the company does not release earnings within 45 calendar days of the estimated earnings date, this market will resolve to “No.” Note: Subsequent restatements, corrections, or revisions made to the initially announced non-GAAP EPS figure will not qualify for resolution, except in the case of obvious and immediate mistakes (e.g., fat finger errors, as with Lyft's (LYFT) earnings release in February 2024). Note: The strike prices used in these markets are derived from SeekingAlpha estimates, and reflect the consensus of sell-side analyst estimates for non-GAAP EPS. Note: All figures will be rounded to the nearest cent using standard rounding. Note: For the purposes of this market, IFRS EPS will be treated as GAAP EPS. Note: If multiple versions of non-GAAP EPS are published, the market will resolve according to the primary headline non-GAAP EPS number, which is typically presented on a diluted basis. If diluted is not published, then basic non-GAAP EPS will qualify. Note: All figures are expressed in USD, unless otherwise indicated. Note: For primarily internationally listed companies, this market refers specifically to the shares traded in the United States on U.S. stock exchanges such as the NYSE or Nasdaq. In cases where the company trades in the U.S. through an American Depositary Receipt (ADR) or American Depositary Share (ADS), this market will refer to the ADR/ADS.

Frequently asked questions

The dashboard on Polymarket tracks real-time odds and trading activity for the ARES quarterly earnings beat market. It displays the current probability that Ares Management will report earnings that exceed analyst consensus estimates in the relevant quarter. Traders can monitor price movements, historical trends, and 24-hour volume to gauge market sentiment. The interface shows how confidence in an earnings beat has shifted over time, reflecting new information, company guidance, and broader market conditions. This live data helps participants assess whether the market is pricing in optimism or caution about the company's financial performance relative to Wall Street expectations.

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst consensus because they incorporate real-time trader conviction and forward-looking sentiment. While sell-side analysts publish earnings estimates and target prices on a fixed schedule, this market updates continuously as new data emerges—earnings reports, guidance revisions, macroeconomic shifts, or company-specific news. Analysts typically focus on point estimates of revenue and earnings per share, whereas traders here are directly pricing the binary outcome of a beat or miss. This market can sometimes signal skepticism or confidence ahead of formal analyst revisions, making it a complementary signal to published forecasts rather than a replacement.

On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader orders into real-time odds. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Buyers of the "yes" outcome are betting that Ares Management will beat earnings; sellers are betting against it. The price reflects the collective confidence of all active traders and adjusts instantly as new positions are entered. Higher prices indicate stronger market belief in a beat, while lower prices suggest skepticism. Traders can enter or exit positions at any time before the market closes, and the final price at resolution determines payouts.

This market resolves around Jul 31, 2026, once the relevant earnings announcement and results are publicly available. The outcome is determined by comparing Ares Management's reported earnings per share or other key metric against the consensus estimate established before the announcement. If the company beats the consensus figure, the "yes" outcome wins; if it meets or misses, "no" wins. Resolution is verified against credible public sources and official company filings. Traders should monitor the exact earnings date and any guidance updates from the company leading up to the announcement.

Several catalysts can shift odds in this market before resolution. Quarterly business updates, management commentary, or revised guidance from Ares Management may reset expectations and trader positioning. Broader financial sector performance, interest rate changes, or macroeconomic data can influence sentiment around asset managers and their earnings outlook. Competitor earnings reports or industry trends may also provide context. Analyst estimate revisions—either raising or lowering consensus—can tighten or widen the margin needed for a beat. Finally, any material corporate news, regulatory developments, or changes in Ares' business mix could prompt repricing as traders reassess the likelihood of an earnings surprise.
