This market will resolve to "Yes" if Apple's Mac revenue for the upcoming third fiscal quarter, as reported in its official company earnings materials, is above the listed amount. Otherwise, this market will resolve to "No". The specified metric will be considered as reported in the company's official earnings materials. Subsequent revisions will not be considered. If the specified company's official earnings materials for the specified quarter are released, and the specified metric is not included, this market will resolve to "No". If the specified company does not release quarterly earnings materials for the specified quarter by August 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, this market will resolve to "No". If the specified metric is reported as a range rather than a specific number, the midpoint of the range will be used for resolution of this market. The resolution source for this market is the specified company's official company earnings materials, including press releases, investor presentations, and regulatory filings. If the specified metric is not reported in these materials, recordings or transcripts of the company's earnings webcast may also be used. Note: This market will resolve based on the most numerically precise version of the specified metric reported in the company's official earnings materials. Only the specified metric will be considered; alternate versions that differ in definition or scope from the specified metric will not be considered.

Prediction market odds and traditional analyst forecasts often diverge because they reflect different methodologies. Analysts typically publish point estimates or ranges based on historical trends and company guidance, while this market aggregates real-money bets from traders who profit or lose based on the actual outcome. When analyst consensus predicts strong Mac revenue, market odds may still price in execution risk or supply-chain uncertainty. Conversely, bullish trader positioning can outpace cautious analyst calls. Comparing the two reveals whether Wall Street and prediction markets agree on Apple's Q3 Mac performance.
On Polymarket, this market is priced through an automated market maker that converts trader buy and sell orders into real-time probability percentages. On Polymarket, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome—revenue above or below the threshold—has its own contract, and the sum of all outcome prices equals 100 cents. As traders buy the "above" contract, its price rises and the "below" contract falls, continuously balancing supply and demand. This mechanism ensures the market price always reflects the latest collective judgment of active traders on whether Apple will hit the Mac revenue target.
This market resolves around Jul 30, 2026, once Apple reports its official Q3 financial results and Mac revenue figures are publicly available. The outcome is confirmed when the actual revenue is verified against credible public sources, determining whether it exceeds the specified threshold. Traders holding the winning contract receive their payout, while losing positions expire worthless. Resolution typically occurs within days of Apple's earnings announcement, ensuring all participants see the same authoritative data.
Several catalysts could shift odds before Jul 30, 2026. Apple's quarterly guidance, product announcements (new MacBook models or M-series chip releases), and macroeconomic conditions affecting PC demand all influence Mac revenue expectations. Competitor earnings or industry reports on PC market share may also sway traders. Closer to resolution, any pre-earnings analyst revisions or supply-chain updates could trigger sharp repricing. Additionally, broader tech sector momentum and currency fluctuations impact Apple's reported revenue. Traders monitor these signals continuously, adjusting positions as new information emerges.
