On June 9, 2026 Anthropic released Claude Mythos 5 and Claude Fable 5, see the official announcement here https://www.anthropic.com/news/claude-fable-5-mythos-5. On Jun 12, 2026 they suspended access to both models for all users, following a US Government directive, see here: https://www.anthropic.com/news/fable-mythos-access This market will resolve to “Yes” if Anthropic makes any Mythos-class model available to the general public again by 11:59 PM ET Jun 30, 2026. Otherwise, it will resolve to “No”. The model must be accessible to the public in more than one country or region from their official list, which can be found here: https://www.anthropic.com/supported-countries. If the model is available only to US citizens, or only to handpicked professionals or enterprises, it will not count as a “public” release. Anthropic must clearly state the model is available to the “general public”. The model will classify as a “Mythos-class” model if it is officially described as “Mythos-class” or named “Claude Mythos” (eg Claude Mythos 5 and Claude Fable 5 would both count if re-released). Announcements alone will not qualify, the model must be directly accessible via either API, web client or desktop client to qualify. The primary resolution source for this market will be official information from Anthropic; however, a consensus of credible reporting will also be used.

Prediction markets like this one aggregate distributed trader knowledge into a single probability estimate, often differing meaningfully from published analyst forecasts or expert commentary. While traditional analysts may issue point estimates or qualitative assessments about Anthropic's release timeline, this market reflects real financial incentives—traders who forecast incorrectly lose capital. The gap between market odds and analyst views can signal either market skepticism toward expert consensus or early detection of shifting industry signals. Comparing the two perspectives helps identify where expert opinion and decentralized trader judgment diverge on the likelihood of a public Mythos-class release.
On Predict, traders buy and sell shares representing "yes" and "no" outcomes, with the current price of each reflecting the market's implied probability. On Predict, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The more traders believe a Mythos-class model will be released publicly before July, the higher the "yes" share price rises, and vice versa. Prices adjust in real time as new information emerges—such as Anthropic announcements, product updates, or industry developments—and traders adjust their positions accordingly. This continuous price discovery mechanism ensures the market reflects the most up-to-date collective forecast available on the platform.
This market resolves around Jul 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Resolution hinges on whether Anthropic has made a Mythos-class model publicly available to users before that date. Public availability means the model is accessible to the general public through official Anthropic channels, APIs, or partner platforms—not limited to internal testing or private beta. Once the deadline passes, the market settles based on verified evidence of whether this condition was met.
Key catalysts include official Anthropic announcements regarding model releases, product roadmap updates, or statements about public availability timelines. Competitive moves by other AI labs—such as OpenAI, Google, or Meta—releasing new models could shift trader expectations about Anthropic's urgency or strategy. Regulatory developments affecting AI deployment, funding news, or executive commentary on release plans would likely trigger repricing. Technical breakthroughs or safety milestones that Anthropic publicly discusses could also influence whether traders expect a public Mythos release before the deadline. Media coverage and industry sentiment around large language model availability will continuously shape market odds.
