During the public signing ceremony for the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act, these markets track whether President Trump mentions specific words or phrases in his official remarks. Resolution is based on video of the live televised or streamed event, with transcripts used as backup if video consensus cannot be reached.
Resolution requires President Trump to speak in an official capacity during a live, press-open televised or streamed signing ceremony for the 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act. Each market resolves Yes if Trump uses the exact phrase or word specified (including plural or possessive forms), with grammatical and tense inflections otherwise not required. Only content from the live broadcast or stream qualifies; previously aired content, archival footage, or recordings from separate events do not count. Video serves as the primary resolution source, with official transcripts as backup if video consensus cannot be established. If the event is cancelled or fails to qualify under these criteria, the "Event does not qualify" market resolves Yes and all other markets resolve No. If the event is postponed but rescheduled within 14 calendar days with announcement by the end of the following day, markets remain open.
Prediction market odds reflect real-money trader conviction and often diverge from traditional analyst consensus. While political analysts and media commentators may forecast Trump's likely talking points based on prior statements and policy priorities, this market prices those expectations through live trading. Traders continuously update odds as new information emerges, sometimes moving faster than published forecasts. Comparing the leading outcome's implied probability to analyst commentary can reveal where the market sees higher or lower confidence in specific remarks during the signing.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares tied to each possible outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each outcome reflects the collective probability assigned by active traders, with spreads tightening as volume increases. Shares are quoted in cents, and your profit or loss depends on whether your chosen outcome resolves as true. Liquidity and trading volume directly influence how quickly prices adjust to new developments or shifting expectations about the signing event.
This market resolves around Jun 25, 2027, once the Road to Housing Act signing event has concluded and statements are verifiable. The outcome is determined by comparing Trump's actual remarks during the signing against the specific predictions offered in this market. Resolution relies on credible public reporting, including official transcripts, video footage, and news coverage of the event. Traders should monitor the lead-up period for any schedule changes or postponements that might affect the resolution date.
Market odds could shift significantly based on Trump's recent public statements, housing policy announcements, or legislative developments affecting the bill. Media coverage previewing the signing event, statements from administration officials, or changes to the bill's final language may prompt traders to adjust positions. Economic data on housing or inflation could influence expectations about what Trump emphasizes during the ceremony. Additionally, any delays, cancellations, or surprise guest appearances at the signing could reshape trader sentiment on which remarks are most likely to occur.
