Donald Trump will appear on Newsmax's Greg Kelly Reports program for an interview. The markets track whether Trump mentions specific words or phrases during his live on-air remarks in an official capacity.
Resolution is based on Donald Trump speaking in an official capacity during the live broadcast or stream of Newsmax: Greg Kelly Reports. Video of the broadcast serves as the primary resolution source; official transcripts may be used if video consensus cannot be reached. Each market resolves Yes if Trump uses the exact phrase or word (including plural or possessive forms), with grammatical and tense inflections otherwise not counted. Plural nouns within proper nouns and noun phrases are included. Only content from the original live broadcast or stream counts; additional content, advertisements, archival footage, and previously aired material do not count, though promotional content aired during the event does count. Trump must be present and speaking in an official capacity for the event to qualify; inaudible private conversations or unofficial statements picked up on a hot mic do not qualify. If the event is cancelled or fails to qualify, all markets resolve to No and the "Event does not qualify" market resolves to Yes. If postponed and rescheduled within 14 calendar days with announcement by the end of the following calendar day, markets remain open.
Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst forecasts because they aggregate real-money bets rather than expert opinion alone. In this market, traders with financial skin in the game continuously reprice outcomes based on breaking news, polling shifts, and event-specific developments. Analyst forecasts tend to update less frequently and may reflect institutional caution or consensus bias. Prediction markets reward accuracy and punish poor calls immediately, creating incentives for participants to incorporate all available information. Comparing the two approaches can reveal where expert consensus and market sentiment align or diverge on what will unfold during the appearance.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks for each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Prices range from near zero to near 100, representing the implied probability that a given statement or topic will be mentioned. When a buyer and seller agree on a price, a trade executes and the market price updates instantly. Tighter spreads between bid and ask indicate higher confidence and liquidity, while wider spreads suggest uncertainty or lower trading interest. The platform's matching engine ensures transparent price discovery throughout the event window.
This market resolves around Jul 28, 2026, once the broadcast concludes and the relevant statements or topics can be verified. The outcome is confirmed by comparing the actual content of the appearance against the specific criteria tied to each trading outcome. Resolution relies on credible public reporting and video records of the segment to establish what was actually said or discussed. Traders will know the result shortly after the event airs, allowing for rapid settlement and payout of winnings to those who correctly predicted the outcome.
Several catalysts could shift odds before the appearance airs. Breaking political news or statements from Trump or Newsmax hosts in the days leading up to the segment may signal likely talking points. Changes in the news cycle—such as developments in legal cases, policy announcements, or geopolitical events—could alter the probability of certain topics being discussed. Social media activity, polling releases, or reporting about the segment's planned focus could also influence trader positioning. As the broadcast date approaches, any pre-event promotional materials or hints about the segment's content would likely trigger repricing across all outcomes in this market.
