This market tracks whether Donald Trump will mention specific words, phrases, or topics during his official remarks at a campaign event in Marietta, Georgia, as analyzed on Kalshi. The current probability of the leading outcome stands at 99.0%, with resolution based on the content of Trump's remarks during the event. Watch for the event itself on August 6, 2026, as this is when Trump's statements will be evaluated to settle the market.
Resolution is based on analysis of Donald Trump's live remarks at the Marietta, Georgia event, with video as the primary source and official transcripts as secondary verification. The event must be open to the press and televised or streamed live to qualify. Trump must speak in an official capacity; inaudible private conversations or unofficial statements do not count. Previously aired content, archival footage, or recordings from separate events are excluded. Each phrase or word must appear in exact form or as a plural or possessive variant; grammatical and tense inflections are not counted separately. One outcome, "Event does not qualify," resolves to Yes if the event is cancelled, fails to meet qualification criteria, or cannot be normally resolved, in which case all other outcomes resolve to No. If the event is postponed but rescheduled within 14 calendar days with announcement by the end of the following day, markets remain open. All other outcomes resolve to Yes if Trump uses the specified phrase or word during the remarks.
Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst forecasts because they reflect real-money incentives and continuous price discovery rather than static polling or expert opinion. In this market, traders are directly wagering on what will actually be said, creating a self-correcting mechanism when new reporting or campaign signals emerge. Analysts may rely on historical patterns or prepared remarks, while market participants factor in breaking developments and crowd sentiment, sometimes leading to meaningfully different probability estimates for the same predicted outcomes.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares corresponding to each predicted remark or topic. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome is quoted as a percentage probability between 0 and 100, with the price reflecting the collective belief of active traders. As new bids and offers flow in, prices adjust in real time, allowing participants to enter or exit positions at the prevailing market rate for any given prediction.
This market resolves around Aug 6, 2026, once the remarks have concluded and outcomes can be verified against credible public reporting. The resolution process confirms which statements or topics were actually mentioned during the event, comparing the live remarks against the specific predictions offered in each outcome category. Traders will know the final result shortly after the event concludes and reporting is finalized.
Several catalysts could shift odds significantly before resolution. Campaign announcements or leaked remarks about Georgia policy could boost certain outcome probabilities. Breaking news on state-specific issues—economic data, voting controversies, or local endorsements—may signal which topics the candidate will prioritize. Media coverage and analyst commentary can also influence trader expectations. Finally, any public statements or social media posts from the candidate in the days leading up to the event often trigger repricing as participants update their forecasts based on fresh signals about likely talking points.
