These markets track whether Donald Trump mentions specific words or phrases during his official remarks at the Burning Hills Amphitheatre. Resolution is based on live broadcast or stream video, with official transcripts used as backup if video consensus cannot be reached. The event must be press-open and televised/streamed to qualify.
Resolution requires Donald Trump to speak in an official capacity during a press-open, live televised or streamed event at the Burning Hills Amphitheatre. Each market resolves Yes if Trump uses the exact phrase or word specified (including plural or possessive forms), with grammatical and tense inflections otherwise not required. Plural nouns within proper nouns and noun phrases are included. Resolution is determined primarily from live broadcast or stream video; if consensus cannot be reached, official internal and external transcripts are used. Previously aired content, archival footage, and recordings from separate times, places, or events do not count. If the event is cancelled or fails to qualify, all phrase markets resolve No and the "Event does not qualify" market resolves Yes. If postponed with announcement by end of the following calendar day to a date within 14 calendar days, markets remain open. Trump must be present and speaking in an official capacity; inaudible private conversations or unofficial statements picked up on hot mic do not qualify.
Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst forecasts because they reflect real-money incentives and crowd wisdom rather than expert opinion alone. In this market, traders are betting directly on what will be said, creating a dynamic price discovery mechanism that can shift rapidly as new context emerges. Analysts may rely on historical patterns or prepared remarks, while market participants incorporate breaking developments, social media signals, and late-breaking news. The two approaches can converge or diverge significantly depending on information asymmetries and the confidence levels of both groups. Comparing the two perspectives helps traders identify potential mispricings and refine their own forecasts.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where buyers and sellers submit bids and offers for each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The platform matches trades continuously, and the last executed price becomes the market price visible to all participants. Each outcome has its own contract, and prices are expressed as probabilities ranging from 0 to 100. Traders can place limit orders to buy or sell at specific price levels, or execute market orders for immediate fills. The spread between bid and ask reflects the current liquidity and conviction among participants, with tighter spreads indicating higher confidence and deeper order books.
This market resolves around Jul 16, 2026, once the Burning Hills Amphitheatre remarks have concluded and the content is verifiable from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by comparing the actual statements made during the event against the specific prediction categories offered in the market. Resolution relies on documented records such as official transcripts, video recordings, or reputable news coverage to confirm which outcomes occurred. Traders should monitor official announcements and media reports in the days leading up to and immediately following the event to stay informed about resolution timing and any clarifications from the platform.
Several catalysts could shift odds significantly before the event concludes. Advance reporting or leaked excerpts about the speech's themes would likely trigger repricing across all outcomes. Major news developments in politics or policy could alter what the speaker chooses to emphasize during remarks. Social media speculation, campaign announcements, or statements from allied figures may signal which topics will be prioritized. Changes in polling or public sentiment could also influence trader expectations about the tone and substance of the address. Finally, any official schedule changes or venue updates would affect market confidence in the timing and format of the event itself.
