This event tracks specific phrases and topics Donald Trump mentions during his official remarks at Mack Trucks. Resolution depends on whether Trump delivers the remarks in an official capacity at a press-open, live televised or streamed event.
Resolution requires Donald Trump to speak in an official capacity at a live, press-open televised or streamed event at Mack Trucks. Video of the remarks serves as the primary resolution source; official transcripts are used if video consensus cannot be reached. The exact phrase or word, including plural or possessive forms, must be used; grammatical and tense inflections are not required. Previously aired content, archival footage, and recordings from separate times or events do not count. If the event is cancelled or fails to qualify, or if Trump does not speak in an official capacity, the "Event does not qualify" market resolves to Yes and all other markets resolve to No. If postponed with announcement by the following calendar day to a date within 14 calendar days, markets remain open.
Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst forecasts because they reflect real-money incentives and collective trader conviction rather than individual expert opinion. In this market, traders are directly wagering on what will actually be said, creating a dynamic price discovery mechanism. Analysts may rely on historical patterns or prepared remarks, while prediction markets incorporate breaking news, schedule changes, and evolving sentiment in real time. The odds here aggregate dispersed information from many participants, sometimes revealing expectations that formal forecasts have not yet captured or emphasized.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares corresponding to different possible statements or topics. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome has an implied probability reflected in its share price, ranging from near-zero to near-100 cents. As traders place bids and offers, prices adjust to reflect updated beliefs about what will be said. The spread between buy and sell prices tightens as liquidity increases, and volume concentrates around outcomes perceived as most likely by the market.
This market resolves around Jun 24, 2026, after the remarks have concluded and can be verified against credible public sources. The outcome is determined by analyzing what was actually said during the event, matched against the specific statements or topics the market has priced. Resolution hinges on clear, documented evidence from video, transcript, or authoritative reporting. Once the event is confirmed and outcomes are verified, the market settles and traders receive payouts based on which outcomes occurred.
Market prices could shift significantly if Trump cancels or postpones the appearance, if advance excerpts or prepared remarks leak, or if breaking news changes the political or business context. Statements from Mack Trucks executives, scheduling announcements, or media speculation about topics he plans to address would likely trigger repricing. Broader political developments or company-specific news could also influence trader expectations. As the event date approaches, any confirmation of his attendance or hints about the remarks' focus would drive volatility and rebalance implied probabilities across outcomes.
