Kalshi
This market tracks whether Donald Trump will use specific words or phrases during his July 4th TRIBUTE TO AMERICA rally. On Kalshi, the leading outcome—that a qualifying event does not occur—stands at 99.0%. Resolution will be determined by video evidence from an official, live televised or streamed event open to the press. Watch for Trump's July 4th rally appearance to determine whether the specific speech content meets the resolution criteria.
Resolution requires Donald Trump to speak in an official capacity during a live broadcast or stream of the July 4th TRIBUTE TO AMERICA rally that is open to the press. Previously aired content, archival footage, and recordings from separate events do not count. For each phrase or word tracked, the exact term or its plural or possessive form must be used; grammatical and tense inflections are otherwise not included. Plural nouns within proper nouns and noun phrases are included. Video of the rally serves as the primary resolution source; if Kalshi employees cannot reach consensus from video, official internal and external transcripts will be used. If the event is cancelled or fails to qualify under these criteria, or if Trump is absent or does not speak in an official capacity (such as inaudible private conversations or unofficial hot-mic statements), the "Event does not qualify" market resolves to Yes and all other markets resolve to No. If the event is postponed and rescheduled within 14 calendar days with announcement by the end of the following calendar day, markets remain open.
Prediction market odds reflect real-money trader conviction and often diverge from traditional analyst or polling forecasts because markets incentivize accuracy through financial stakes. While political analysts may rely on historical patterns or qualitative judgment, this market aggregates dispersed information from participants betting directly on outcomes. Comparing odds here to published expert predictions reveals where the crowd sees higher or lower probability than establishment forecasters. Markets typically respond faster to breaking news, whereas analyst consensus can lag. For this event, tracking the gap between market-implied odds and expert commentary provides insight into where informed traders see edge or disagreement.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell contracts representing different outcomes. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each contract's price reflects the collective belief in that outcome's probability, ranging from near-zero to near-certain. Bid-ask spreads tighten as volume increases, rewarding active traders with better execution. The platform displays the leading outcome and its implied probability, allowing new participants to quickly gauge consensus. As the July 4th rally approaches, pricing typically becomes more efficient as information crystallizes and trader participation intensifies.
This market resolves around Jul 19, 2026, after the July 4th rally concludes and statements are verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by comparing actual remarks made during the event against the specific predictions offered in the market. Once the rally concludes and coverage is available, the platform confirms which outcomes occurred, and positions settle accordingly. Traders should monitor official broadcasts, press coverage, and video recordings to track developments in real time. Resolution typically occurs within days of the event once sufficient documentation is available.
Market prices will shift based on pre-rally news cycles, campaign announcements, and political developments that hint at the former president's likely talking points. Polling data, recent legislative action, or international events may increase odds on certain topics. Media speculation about rally themes and advance messaging from campaign staff can signal which statements are more probable. Closer to July 4th, any public statements or interviews by the speaker often anchor trader expectations. Breaking news unrelated to the rally itself—economic data, legal developments, or political controversies—can also reshape the probability of specific remarks being made.
