This market on Kalshi tracks whether Donald Trump will mention Biden during bilateral meetings scheduled for July 8th in Turkey. The leading outcome currently stands at 99.0% probability. Resolution will be determined by live broadcast or stream footage of the meetings, with official transcripts serving as backup if video consensus cannot be established. Watch for the July 8th bilateral meetings in Turkey, as the event window on that date will provide the definitive footage needed for market resolution.
Resolution is based on Donald Trump speaking in an official capacity during a press-open, live televised or streamed bilateral meeting in Turkey on July 8th. Each market resolves Yes if Trump uses the exact phrase or word specified (including plural or possessive forms), with grammatical/tense inflections otherwise excluded. Plural nouns within proper nouns and noun phrases are included. Resolution uses live broadcast or stream video as primary evidence; official transcripts serve as backup if video consensus cannot be reached. Previously aired content, archival footage, and recordings from separate times, places, or events do not count. Private conversations, inaudible remarks, and unofficial statements picked up on hot mics do not qualify. If the event is cancelled or fails to qualify under these criteria, the "Event does not qualify" market resolves Yes and all other markets resolve No. If postponed with announcement by end of the following calendar day to a date within 14 calendar days, markets remain open.
Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst forecasts because they reflect real-money incentives and continuous price discovery rather than static polling or expert opinion. In this market, traders are wagering on what Trump will actually say, creating a self-correcting mechanism as new information surfaces. Analysts may rely on historical patterns or prepared talking points, while prediction markets incorporate breaking news, diplomatic signals, and market participants' direct exposure to accuracy. This dynamic pricing typically captures nuance that surveys miss, though both approaches offer complementary perspectives on likely outcomes.
This market resolves around Jul 23, 2026, once the bilateral meetings conclude and Trump's statements are documented. The outcome is confirmed against credible public reporting, including official transcripts, video records, and major news coverage of the meetings. Resolution hinges on verifying which specific statements or remarks Trump made during the bilateral discussions, with the winning outcome determined by the statements that actually occurred. Traders should monitor official channels and reputable news sources as the event date approaches.
Several catalysts could shift odds before resolution. Diplomatic tensions or public statements from Turkish officials may signal Trump's likely talking points. Media leaks or pre-meeting briefings could hint at agenda priorities. Changes in geopolitical conditions—sanctions, trade disputes, or security concerns—often influence bilateral meeting rhetoric. Trump's recent public comments on Turkey or related issues may be priced in as traders anticipate consistency or shifts. Finally, unexpected developments in the days before the meetings, such as breaking news or policy announcements, could reshape market expectations around what he will emphasize during these talks.
