Donald Trump will appear on Fox News: Special Report, a news program. These markets track whether Trump uses specific words or phrases during his official remarks on the broadcast.
Resolution is based on video of the live Fox News: Special Report broadcast, with official transcripts used if video consensus cannot be reached. Only content from the original live broadcast or stream counts; promotional content during the event is included, but advertisements and previously aired content are excluded. Trump must speak in an official capacity for the event to qualify; inaudible private conversations or unofficial statements do not count. Each market resolves Yes if Trump uses the exact phrase or word specified (including plural or possessive forms), with grammatical and tense inflections otherwise not required. Plural nouns within proper nouns and noun phrases are included. If the event is cancelled or fails to qualify under these criteria, all markets resolve No and the "Event does not qualify" market resolves Yes. If postponed with announcement by the end of the following calendar day to a date within 14 calendar days, markets remain open.
Prediction market odds reflect real-money trading by informed participants and often diverge from traditional analyst forecasts because markets incorporate live information and incentivize accuracy through financial risk. While political analysts may rely on historical patterns or polling, this market aggregates the collective judgment of traders betting on what will actually be said. Markets tend to update faster than published forecasts when new developments occur. Comparing the two can reveal where expert consensus and market sentiment align or diverge, offering insight into which outcomes carry genuine uncertainty versus those where the crowd has already priced in high confidence.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through continuous order-book trading, where buyers and sellers submit bids and offers for each outcome. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The current odds reflect the most recent matched trades and pending orders at the top of the book. Prices range from near zero to near 100, representing the crowd's estimated probability of each statement or topic being mentioned. As new information emerges or trading volume shifts, prices adjust in real time. Traders can enter limit or market orders to position themselves ahead of the broadcast, and the spread between bid and ask reflects market liquidity and uncertainty.
This market resolves around Jul 29, 2026, once the Fox News broadcast concludes and outcomes can be verified. The resolution hinges on whether specific statements or topics were actually mentioned during the program, confirmed against credible public reporting and video records of the event. Traders should monitor the broadcast closely, as the exact timing of resolution depends on how quickly the platform's team can verify each outcome against the aired content. Early resolution is possible if outcomes become unambiguous before the full broadcast ends.
Major political announcements, breaking news, or statements from Trump or Fox News hosts in the days before the broadcast could shift trader expectations about what will be discussed. Market prices may also react to trending topics on social media or shifts in the news cycle that make certain subjects more or less likely to be covered. Unexpected developments in ongoing political stories—such as legal proceedings, policy announcements, or international events—could prompt rapid repricing as traders adjust their forecasts. Additionally, any pre-broadcast commentary or leaks about planned segments may influence odds closer to air time, creating opportunities for traders to react before the event unfolds.
