Donald Trump is scheduled to appear on Fox News's Fox & Friends morning show. These markets track whether he mentions specific words or phrases during his live on-air remarks, using video and official transcripts as primary resolution sources.
Resolution is based on Donald Trump speaking in an official capacity during the live broadcast or stream of Fox News: Fox & Friends. The exact phrase or word must be used, including plural or possessive forms, though grammatical and tense inflections are not required. Plural nouns within proper nouns and noun phrases are included. Only content from the original live broadcast or stream counts; additional content, advertisements, archival footage, and previously aired material do not count. Promotional content aired during the event does count. Video is the primary resolution source; if consensus cannot be reached via video, official internal and external transcripts are used. If the event is cancelled or fails to qualify, or if Trump does not speak in an official capacity (such as inaudible private conversations or unofficial hot mic statements), the "Event does not qualify" market resolves to Yes and all other markets resolve to No. If the event is postponed and rescheduled within 14 calendar days with announcement by the end of the following calendar day, markets remain open.
Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst forecasts because they aggregate real-money bets from many participants rather than relying on a single expert opinion. Traders in this market have direct financial incentive to price outcomes accurately, which can lead to faster incorporation of breaking news or shifting political sentiment. While analysts may publish periodic reports, this market updates continuously, sometimes reflecting public expectations more dynamically than conventional polling or commentary.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks for contracts tied to specific outcomes. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price of each contract reflects the probability traders assign to that outcome occurring, ranging from near-zero to near-certain. As new information surfaces or sentiment shifts, traders adjust their positions, and prices move to reflect updated consensus expectations.
This market resolves around Jul 28, 2026, once the Fox & Friends appearance concludes and statements can be verified against credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by whether Trump's remarks match the specific claims or topics embedded in each contract. Resolution occurs after sufficient time has passed for reliable confirmation from news sources and broadcast records, ensuring accuracy before final settlement.
Major political developments, breaking news about Trump's schedule, or public statements from Fox News could shift trader expectations significantly. Market prices may also react to recent Trump appearances on other media outlets, shifts in political momentum, or unexpected announcements that change the likelihood of certain topics being discussed. As the appearance date approaches, increased media speculation and insider commentary typically drive heightened trading activity and price volatility in this market.
