A professional baseball game between two teams is played, with broadcasters potentially mentioning various baseball-related terms and phrases during commentary.
Resolution is determined by whether play-by-play or color commentators use the exact phrase or word, including plural or possessive forms, during the game broadcast. Commentary counting begins following the first pitch and continues through game conclusion, including extra innings if applicable. Commentary ends following the umpire's decision if the final play is under review. The national broadcast is used for resolution; if unavailable, the home team's local broadcast applies. Promotional content aired during the event counts, but advertisements do not. Previously aired content, archival footage, and recordings from separate times, places, or events are excluded. Video of the game is the primary resolution source; if consensus cannot be reached, official internal and external transcripts are used. If the game is cancelled or fails to qualify, or if postponement is announced beyond 14 calendar days, the "Event does not qualify" market resolves to Yes and all other markets resolve to No. If postponed within 14 calendar days, markets remain open.
On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. On Kalshi, each potential announcer statement is priced as a binary contract reflecting the probability traders assign to that specific mention occurring during the Braves vs Mets broadcast. Prices range from near-zero to near-100, with higher prices indicating greater confidence in that outcome. Traders buy contracts they believe are underpriced and sell those they view as overpriced, causing prices to converge toward true probability as the game approaches. The current market price on any given announcer mention represents the collective assessment of all active traders on Kalshi at that moment.
This market resolves on Jun 26, 2026, shortly after the conclusion of the Braves vs Mets game broadcast. Resolution is determined by verified recordings and transcripts of the actual announcer commentary during the game. Each outcome resolves to YES if the specified statement or mention is confirmed to have been said on air, or NO if it was not. The resolution process relies on official broadcast records and established verification protocols to ensure accuracy and fairness for all traders.
Market prices will shift based on pre-game developments such as player injuries, lineup changes, or breaking news about either team that broadcasters are likely to emphasize. Announcer tendencies and historical patterns from previous Braves-Mets matchups can influence trader expectations about commentary themes. As game time nears, any viral social media discussions or storylines gaining traction may increase odds on related announcer mentions. During the broadcast itself, early game events—home runs, errors, or standout performances—will dynamically affect which announcer statements traders believe are most probable in real time.
