These markets track whether Microsoft executives mention specific companies, technologies, or business topics during their quarterly earnings call on July 29, 2026. Each market resolves Yes if the exact word or phrase is spoken by any Microsoft representative during the call or Q&A session.
Each market resolves to Yes if any Microsoft Corporation representative, including the call operator, speaks the exact phrase or word during the earnings call and Q&A session. Plural and possessive forms of the target phrase are acceptable, but other grammatical or tense inflections are not. Resolution will be determined primarily through video of the earnings call; if Kalshi employees cannot reach consensus from video, transcripts from major news publications will be used as the authoritative source. The exact phrase must be used as specified for each market—partial matches or contextual references do not qualify.
Compared to traditional analyst forecasts, prediction market odds offer a real-time aggregate of what traders believe Microsoft will emphasize on the call. While analysts provide detailed, research-backed projections, this market reflects crowd-sourced expectations that can react faster to news, rumors, or shifts in investor sentiment, often showing different probabilities for key statements.
This market resolves around Dec 30, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Microsoft’s official earnings call transcript, press releases, and reputable financial news sources will be used to determine whether specific statements were made, ending all trading and settling contracts accordingly.
Pre-call analyst notes, insider options activity, and early leaks from financial journalists could shift this market. Major tech sector movements, unexpected earnings from competitors, or macroeconomic data affecting tech stocks may also influence trader sentiment. Any last-minute changes in Microsoft’s scheduled call agenda or executive speaking roles can cause rapid price swings before resolution.
