Senator Lindsey Graham will appear on CBS's Face the Nation, a weekly news interview program. Resolution will be based on video of the live broadcast, with official transcripts used if needed to verify specific statements made during his on-air interview.
Resolution is determined by analyzing Senator Lindsey Graham's statements during his official capacity appearance on the Face the Nation broadcast. The live broadcast or stream serves as the primary source material, with official transcripts used as secondary verification if consensus cannot be reached from video alone. Only content included in the original broadcast counts; promotional content aired during the event is included, but advertisements are excluded. Previously aired content, archival footage, and recordings from separate times or events do not count. Graham must speak in an official capacity for the event to qualify; inaudible private conversations or unofficial statements picked up on a hot mic do not qualify. Exact phrases or words must be used, including plural or possessive forms, though other grammatical and tense inflections are not required. Plural nouns within proper nouns and noun phrases are included. If the event is cancelled or fails to qualify under these criteria, the "Event does not qualify" market resolves to Yes and all other markets resolve to No. If postponed and rescheduled within 14 calendar days with announcement by the end of the following calendar day, markets remain open.
Prediction market odds on this market aggregate real-time trader conviction and often diverge from traditional analyst commentary or polling. While political analysts may rely on historical patterns or selective statements, traders in this market incorporate breaking news, recent legislative developments, and real-time information flow. The odds reflect a financial incentive structure—traders profit only if their forecast proves accurate—which can make markets more responsive to emerging signals than static analyst views. Comparing this market's odds to published expert predictions reveals how differently informed groups weight the same underlying event.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different outcomes. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each share trades between 0 and 100 cents, with the price reflecting the implied probability of that outcome occurring. Traders submit limit and market orders, and the platform matches buyers and sellers in real time. The spread between bid and ask prices tightens as liquidity increases, and the midpoint price serves as the best estimate of current market sentiment regarding what Senator Graham will say during the broadcast.
This market resolves around Jun 22, 2026, after Senator Graham's appearance on Face the Nation has aired. The outcome is determined by verifying his actual statements against credible public reporting of the broadcast. Once the event is confirmed and documented through reliable sources, the market settles according to which outcome occurred. Traders should monitor the broadcast schedule and any last-minute changes to air dates, as delays or rescheduling could affect the resolution timeline.
Several catalysts could shift odds in this market before resolution. Breaking news about Senate votes, legislative developments, or statements from Senator Graham on other platforms may signal his likely positions during the broadcast. Changes to the interview format, guest list, or scheduled topics could alter trader expectations. Market-moving events include major political announcements, unexpected policy shifts, or developments in issues the senator typically addresses. Traders also watch for scheduling changes or cancellations that would delay resolution, and shifts in broader political sentiment that might influence the senator's messaging strategy.
