Resolution is determined by monitoring the next official White House Press Briefing conducted by the Press Secretary before July 17, 2026. The briefing must be a live televised or streamed event open to the press, and the Press Secretary must speak in an official capacity for the event to qualify. Each outcome resolves to Yes if the Press Secretary uses the exact phrase or word specified—or a plural or possessive form thereof—during the briefing. Grammatical and tense inflections are not considered variations; however, plural nouns within proper nouns and noun phrases are included. Resolution relies primarily on video of the live broadcast or stream; if consensus cannot be reached from video, official internal and external transcripts will be used. Previously aired content, archival footage, and recordings from separate times, places, or events do not count. Inaudible private conversations on camera or unofficial statements picked up on a hot mic do not qualify. The exact phrase must be spoken; partial matches or contextual references alone are insufficient.
