JD Vance will deliver remarks on the Administration's crackdown on crime and fraud at a press-open, live televised or streamed event. Resolution will be determined by analyzing video of the remarks, with official transcripts used as backup if video consensus cannot be reached. The event must occur as scheduled or be rescheduled within 14 days to keep markets open.
This event consists of multiple mention-based markets tracking specific words or phrases JD Vance may use during his remarks on the Administration's crackdown on crime and fraud. Each market resolves Yes if the exact phrase or word (including plural or possessive forms) is spoken during the qualifying event. Grammatical and tense inflections do not count as variations. Resolution is based on live broadcast or stream video as the primary source, with official transcripts serving as secondary verification if video consensus cannot be established. The event must be open to the press and conducted as a live televised or streamed address to qualify. Previously recorded content, archival footage, or remarks made at separate events do not count. JD Vance must speak in an official capacity for the event to qualify; inaudible private conversations or unofficial statements do not satisfy resolution criteria. If the event is cancelled or fails to meet qualification standards, all mention markets resolve to No and the "Event does not qualify" market resolves to Yes. If postponed with announcement by the following calendar day to a date within 14 days, markets remain open.
Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst forecasts because they aggregate real-money bets from diverse traders rather than relying on a single expert opinion. Analysts may publish point estimates or qualitative assessments, while this market reflects the aggregated conviction of participants who have financial skin in the game. When analysts and traders disagree significantly, it typically signals either new information the market has priced in or lingering uncertainty that the broader forecasting community has not yet resolved.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through continuous order-matching, where traders submit bids and asks on specific outcomes and the platform executes trades at the best available prices. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The odds you see reflect the last executed trade price; as more volume flows in, prices adjust to balance supply and demand. This mechanism ensures that the market price continuously incorporates new information and trader conviction about what will be said during the remarks.
This market resolves around Jun 18, 2026, once the remarks have concluded and the content is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by whether specific statements or topics mentioned in the event match the criteria defined for each trading option. Resolution occurs after sufficient time has passed for authoritative sources to confirm what was actually said, ensuring all traders have access to the same factual record.
Market prices may shift based on pre-event announcements about the remarks' focus, media speculation on fraud crackdown priorities, or statements from other officials that hint at policy direction. Real-time developments in ongoing fraud investigations or regulatory actions could also influence trader expectations. As the event date approaches, any leaked details or official previews of the remarks' scope would likely trigger sharp price movements, and once the remarks begin, live reactions from political analysts and market participants will drive continuous repricing.
