This group forecasts whether specific terms will be mentioned during General Mills' earnings calls. The markets aim to predict what topics will be discussed by company representatives, including the call operator, during the earnings announcement and subsequent Q&A session.
This market will resolve based on the next earnings announcement of General Mills currently scheduled to take place on September 23, 2026 at 9:00 AM ET. This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed term is mentioned by anyone during this event. Otherwise, the market will resolve to "No". If this event is definitely cancelled, or otherwise is not aired by September 24, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, "-No Qualifying Event-" will resolve to "Yes" and all other brackets will resolve to "No". The resolution source will be audio of the event. For full rules, see: https://polymarket-upload.s3.us-east-2.amazonaws.com/market_products/Mentions/Event+Mentions+Contract+DeFi.pdf
The event centers on whether specific exact phrases are uttered by any General Mills representative during the company's next earnings call scheduled for September 23, 2026, including the Q+A session. Each market corresponds to a unique phrase; if that phrase—or its plural or possessive form—is spoken, the respective market resolves to Yes. Resolution relies primarily on video recordings of the call. If employees of Kalshi cannot reach consensus using video, transcripts from the call will be examined using news publications listed in the contract. Grammatical or tense variations of the phrases do not count toward payout. Kalshi explicitly disclaims any affiliation with General Mills, and all trademarks remain property of their respective owners.
Polymarket and Kalshi can show different implied probabilities for the same outcome because of liquidity, fee structure, participant mix, and how each venue defines the contract. Different trader bases and liquidity levels on Polymarket and Kalshi can lead to price discrepancies, even when tracking the same underlying event. For example, Polymarket might attract traders with a stronger focus on specific keywords related to General Mills’ supply chain, while Kalshi may have more participants focused on consumer trends. These differing perspectives can influence trading activity and, consequently, the odds displayed on each platform. Additionally, varying trading fees and platform features can contribute to these price differences.
