Description

This market will resolve to “YES” if, at any point during the week of June 29 – July 3 ‘26, the “High” price of the TradingView weekly candle for TSEC Capitalization Weighted Stock Index (TAIEX) (https://www.tradingview.com/chart/?symbol=TWSE%3AIX0001), based on regular trading hours only, is strictly greater than the price specified in the title. Otherwise, the market will resolve to “NO”. For the purposes of resolution, all values will be rounded to two decimal places using standard rounding rules. If the TradingView data for the relevant 1-week candle is inaccessible or not published for more than 24 hours following the market close, resolution defers to the official TAIEX closing value for that trading day as published by the Taiwan Stock Exchange Corporation (https://www.twse.com.tw/en/page/trading/indices/MI_5MINS_HIST.html).

Frequently asked questions

The TAIEX price prediction market dashboard on Limitless tracks real-time odds and historical price movements for where Taiwan's benchmark stock index will trade during the June 29 to July 3 window. Traders can monitor current implied probabilities for each outcome band, view 24-hour volume activity, and analyze how sentiment has shifted as the event window approaches. This live data helps participants gauge market consensus on where the index is most likely to settle, updated continuously as new trades flow through the platform.

Prediction market odds reflect real-money trader conviction and often diverge meaningfully from traditional analyst price targets. While equity research teams publish point estimates and ranges based on fundamental analysis, this market aggregates dispersed information from thousands of participants betting their own capital. Comparing the implied probabilities here to published analyst consensus can reveal whether the market is pricing in more optimism, caution, or uncertainty than the professional consensus—a useful signal for spotting potential mispricing or emerging risks.

On Limitless, this market is priced through an automated market maker that sets odds based on the balance of buy and sell orders across each outcome. On Limitless, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders purchase shares representing their belief about where the TAIEX will close, and the price of each share reflects the collective probability assigned by the market. As new trades arrive, prices adjust dynamically, ensuring the market stays responsive to breaking news, economic data, or shifts in trader sentiment throughout the event window.

This market resolves around Jul 3, 2026, once the TAIEX closing price for the specified period is verifiable from credible public reporting. The outcome is determined by which price band the index settles within, confirmed through official market data. Resolution occurs shortly after the event window closes and the final index level is published, allowing traders to collect winnings on correct predictions.

Key catalysts include Taiwan's economic data releases, central bank policy signals, and regional geopolitical developments. Global equity market momentum, currency fluctuations, and semiconductor sector news can also drive significant repricing, given the TAIEX's heavy weighting toward tech stocks. Earnings surprises from major index constituents, shifts in US-China trade relations, and broader Asia-Pacific market sentiment may all influence trader positioning in the final days before settlement.
