This event tracks whether Donald Trump will mention specific companies during public statements from October 1 to November 1, 2026. Mentions must occur in direct quotes, public speeches, or on his personal social media accounts, excluding official documents or legislative actions.
The event resolves to Yes if Donald Trump states any of the listed companies—Tesla, Apple, Intel, SpaceX, Anthropic, ChatGPT/OpenAI, CNN, Fox News, New York Times, Nvidia, Boeing, TSMC, Airbnb, Meta, Dell, TikTok, Deere, Micron, Microsoft, Amazon, DoorDash, ExxonMobil, Google, Pfizer, Rigetti, General Motors, BlackRock, Toyota, Verizon, MSNBC, Eli Lilly, Mercedes-Benz, Honda, Qualcomm, X/Twitter, AMD, Caterpillar, Mastercard, Turning Point, IBM, BBC, UFC, Uber, Oracle, eBay, JPMorgan, Chevron, Hyundai, Paramount, or Netflix—in any public statement, direct quote published by source agencies, or written public statement on his personal social media accounts (Twitter/Truth Social) between October 1, 2026 at 10:00am ET and November 1, 2026 at 12:00am ET. The exact company name, or its plural/possessive form, must be used; grammatical/tense inflections and official acts like executive orders or bills signed do not count. Each company functions as an independent condition, with the overall market resolving to Yes if any single company name is mentioned per the criteria.
Generally, prediction market prices often reflect a different perspective than traditional analyst forecasts. While analysts rely on fundamental research and expert opinions, this market aggregates the wisdom of the crowd, representing a broader range of information and potential biases. It’s common to see discrepancies between the two, particularly in events with high uncertainty or where subjective factors play a significant role. This market can provide a valuable counterpoint to conventional wisdom, potentially identifying overlooked possibilities or highlighting areas where analysts may be overly optimistic or pessimistic.
On Kalshi, this market is priced using a continuous double auction, where traders buy and sell contracts representing their belief about whether a company will be mentioned by Trump. The price of a contract reflects the probability of that outcome occurring, with higher prices indicating a greater likelihood. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Traders are constantly adjusting their bids and asks based on new information and their own analysis, leading to a dynamic and responsive price discovery process. The market efficiently incorporates new information as it becomes available, providing a real-time assessment of the potential for each company to be mentioned.
This market resolves around Nov 1, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. Specifically, the market will determine which companies Donald Trump publicly mentions during the month of October. Mentions will be determined based on transcripts of public speeches, interviews, and posts on his official social media accounts. The outcome will be based on verifiable mentions, and any ambiguity will be resolved using generally accepted definitions of what constitutes a clear and direct mention of a company.
Several signals could significantly move this market. Any direct statements by Donald Trump regarding specific companies, or hints about future commentary, would likely cause substantial shifts in the odds. Major news events involving these companies, such as earnings reports, product launches, or controversies, could also influence trader sentiment. Political developments, including policy changes or regulatory actions, could also play a role, particularly if they directly impact the companies being tracked. Increased media coverage of potential Trump mentions or speculation about his future statements could also drive trading activity in this market.
