This event tracks the hourly rental price of NVIDIA's RTX 5090 compute resources during the week of July 27-31, 2026. Participants forecast whether the price will exceed various threshold levels by the end of the week at 4 PM ET on July 31st.
Resolution is based on the NVIDIA RTX 5090 compute per-hour pricing data published by Ornn (https://dashboard.ornnai.com/) as of July 31, 2026 at 4 PM ET. If Ornn has not published data for the specified date and time, the most recently available published data will be used instead. All values are expressed in USD, rounded to two decimal places. Any revisions to the underlying data made after the market expiration time will not be considered for resolution purposes.
Prediction market odds on this contract reflect the aggregated belief of traders betting real money, which often differs from published analyst price targets. While Wall Street forecasters may issue quarterly guidance based on historical models and supply-chain assumptions, traders in this market continuously update their positions as earnings reports, product announcements, and competitive dynamics unfold. Markets tend to react faster to breaking news than consensus revisions, sometimes pricing in scenarios analysts have not yet modeled. Comparing the implied probability here to major investment bank forecasts can reveal whether the crowd is more bullish or bearish than the institutional consensus, offering a contrarian signal for your own thesis.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where buyers and sellers post bids and offers on the contract. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The price you see reflects the last executed trade, while the spread between the best bid and best offer shows the current liquidity gap. As new information arrives—earnings surprises, supply announcements, or shifts in data-center demand—traders adjust their orders, moving the price up or down. The continuous auction format means prices update in real time, and your entry or exit price depends on the depth of liquidity at your chosen level. Higher volume typically narrows spreads and improves execution quality.
This market resolves around Jul 31, 2026, at which point the outcome is confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution hinges on the official closing price of NVIDIA's RTX 5090 compute GPU at the end of week 31, as reported by major retailers, NVIDIA's official channels, or recognized tech pricing aggregators. Traders holding positions through expiry will see their contracts settled based on that verified price level. Early exit is always an option if you wish to lock in profits or cut losses before the final week.
Several catalysts could shift this market materially before week 31 closes. NVIDIA earnings announcements or forward guidance on GPU supply and demand will likely trigger sharp repricing. Competitor product launches or price cuts from AMD or other vendors could pressure sentiment downward. Data-center spending trends, AI infrastructure investments, and macroeconomic shifts affecting enterprise capex budgets all influence perceived demand. Supply-chain disruptions or manufacturing delays could constrain availability and support prices. Additionally, regulatory news, geopolitical tensions affecting chip exports, or major customer announcements can reshape trader expectations. Monitoring tech news, earnings calendars, and industry reports will help you anticipate these moves.
