This event tracks the hourly rental price of NVIDIA's A100 GPU compute resources during the week of July 13-17, 2026. The price will be determined by checking the value at 4 PM ET on July 17, 2026, using data from the Ornn pricing dashboard.
Resolution is based on the NVIDIA A100 compute hourly price as reported by Ornn (https://dashboard.ornnai.com/) on July 17, 2026 at 4 PM ET. If Ornn has not published data for the specified date and time, the most recently available published data will be used instead. The USD iteration of the index is used, with values rounded to two decimal places. Any revisions to the underlying data made after the market expiration time are not considered for resolution purposes.
Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst forecasts because they reflect real-time, incentivized trader behavior rather than periodic published reports. On this market, odds aggregate distributed knowledge from participants with direct exposure to GPU pricing trends, supply chain dynamics, and enterprise procurement patterns. Analysts may publish quarterly or annual outlooks, while prediction markets update continuously as new data arrives. This market's odds can serve as a leading indicator of where industry insiders expect A100 pricing to move, sometimes signaling shifts before mainstream analyst consensus updates.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different price outcomes for NVIDIA's A100 compute. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The platform converts order flow into real-time odds, with the bid-ask spread reflecting uncertainty and liquidity depth. Traders profit by correctly predicting where A100 pricing will land at the specified time, creating strong incentives for accurate forecasting. Share prices move dynamically as new information enters the market and trader conviction shifts.
This market resolves around Jul 17, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once NVIDIA's A100 compute pricing is verifiable from credible public sources. The resolution captures the price level at that specific moment, reflecting current market conditions for enterprise GPU capacity. Traders holding shares in the correct outcome receive their payout once the event is finalized and verified. The exact pricing data used for settlement will be drawn from authoritative industry reporting and NVIDIA's official communications.
Several catalysts could shift odds significantly before resolution. Major announcements from NVIDIA regarding A100 supply, new competing products from AMD or other vendors, or shifts in enterprise AI spending could all trigger repricing. Quarterly earnings calls, data center capacity reports, and macroeconomic signals affecting semiconductor demand may also influence trader expectations. Geopolitical developments affecting chip exports, supply chain disruptions, or unexpected changes in cloud provider purchasing patterns could create sharp moves. Real-time monitoring of industry news and NVIDIA communications is essential for tracking this market's evolution.
