These markets track the hourly rental price of NVIDIA's RTX 5090 GPU compute resources during the week of July 6-10, 2026. Participants predict whether the price will exceed various thresholds ($0.50, $0.75, $1.00, $1.25, or $1.50 per hour) as measured at 4 PM ET on July 10, 2026.
Resolution is determined by the NVIDIA RTX 5090 compute per-hour pricing data published by Ornn (https://dashboard.ornnai.com/) as of 4 PM ET on July 10, 2026. If Ornn has not published data for the specified date and time, the most recently available published data will be used. All values are expressed in USD, rounded to two decimal places, and reflect the pricing snapshot at market close; any revisions made to underlying data after the resolution date are disregarded.
Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst forecasts because they reflect real money at stake rather than published opinions. Traders in this market are incentivized to price in forward-looking signals—supply constraints, competitor announcements, or demand shifts—that analysts may lag on. While analyst reports tend to be backward-looking or consensus-driven, market odds update continuously as new information emerges. Comparing the two can reveal where the crowd sees upside or downside risk that mainstream forecasters haven't fully priced in yet.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through an order-book mechanism where traders submit bids and asks for contracts tied to specific price outcomes. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each contract represents a discrete price range or point estimate for the RTX 5090 at the close of week 28. The market price reflects the marginal trade—the last executed order—and spreads widen or tighten based on order flow and uncertainty. As new information surfaces or trader conviction shifts, prices adjust in real time to equilibrate supply and demand.
This market resolves around Jul 10, 2026, once the week closes and the RTX 5090's pricing can be verified from credible public sources. The outcome is determined by the actual listed or transactional price of NVIDIA's RTX 5090 compute GPU at that time, confirmed against authoritative retail, wholesale, or official NVIDIA channels. Resolution happens automatically once the data is finalized and verified, and all winning positions are settled accordingly.
Several catalysts could shift this market significantly. NVIDIA product announcements, supply chain updates, or competitor GPU launches could reshape demand expectations and pricing power. Broader semiconductor industry news—tariffs, manufacturing capacity, or geopolitical factors—may ripple through to the RTX 5090. Retail inventory reports, pre-order data, or early reviewer benchmarks could signal whether demand will support premium pricing. Macroeconomic shifts affecting enterprise compute spending and cryptocurrency mining activity also influence GPU valuations. Watch for earnings calls, tech conferences, and supply-side disruptions in the weeks leading up to resolution.
