This event tracks the hourly rental price of NVIDIA's RTX 5090 GPU compute resources during the week of June 29 - July 3, 2026. The price will be determined by checking the Ornn dashboard at 4 PM ET on July 3, 2026, with separate markets for different price thresholds.
Resolution is based on the NVIDIA RTX 5090 compute hourly rate as published by Ornn (https://dashboard.ornnai.com/) on July 3, 2026 at 4 PM ET. If Ornn has not published data for the specified date and time, the most recently available published data will be used instead. All values are expressed in USD, rounded to two decimal places. Any revisions to the underlying data made after the market expiration time will not be considered in resolution.
Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst forecasts because they aggregate real-money bets from thousands of traders with direct financial incentives to be accurate. While analyst reports may rely on historical pricing patterns and supply-chain assumptions, this market reflects live consensus from participants who profit or lose based on the actual outcome. Comparing the implied probability here to published analyst price targets can reveal where the crowd sees upside, downside, or uncertainty that mainstream research may have missed or underweighted.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares corresponding to different price ranges for the RTX 5090. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. Each outcome bracket has its own bid-ask spread, and the current market price reflects the most recent executed trade. As new information emerges—such as NVIDIA product announcements, supply updates, or competitive developments—traders adjust their positions, moving prices to reflect fresh consensus on where the card's cost will settle by week's end.
This market resolves around Jul 3, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the NVIDIA RTX 5090 price is verifiable from credible public sources. The resolution hinges on identifying the official or widely-reported compute price at the close of Week 27, ensuring that all traders have access to the same factual reference point. Once the price is established and verified, the market settles to the corresponding outcome bracket, and winning positions are credited accordingly.
Several catalysts could shift prices in this market before resolution. Official NVIDIA announcements regarding RTX 5090 availability, pricing tiers, or launch timing would likely trigger sharp moves. Supply-chain disruptions, competitor product releases, or macroeconomic shifts affecting GPU demand could also influence trader positioning. Additionally, any guidance from NVIDIA leadership on enterprise compute pricing strategy, or major cloud-provider procurement deals, would provide new information that traders incorporate into their bets on where the card's cost will land by week's end.
