Description

This event tracks the hourly rental price of NVIDIA's B200 GPU compute resources during the week of June 29 - July 3, 2026. The price will be determined by checking the Ornn dashboard at 4 PM ET on July 3, 2026, with separate markets for different price thresholds.

Kalshi

Resolution is based on the NVIDIA B200 compute hourly rate as published by Ornn (https://dashboard.ornnai.com/) on July 3, 2026 at 4 PM ET. If Ornn has not published data for the specified date and time, the most recently available published data will be used instead. All values are expressed in USD, rounded to two decimal places. Any revisions to the underlying data made after the market expiration time will not be considered in resolution.

Frequently asked questions

On Kalshi, the NVIDIA B200 price market dashboard tracks real-time odds and historical price movements for this prediction contract. The interface displays current market sentiment around NVIDIA's B200 compute pricing at the close of week 27, along with 24-hour trading activity. Traders use this data to monitor how the market is pricing in expectations about the B200's cost structure. The dashboard also shows cumulative volume and recent price shifts, helping participants gauge momentum and liquidity in the contract. This snapshot view enables traders to make informed decisions about their positions relative to the broader market consensus.

Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst forecasts because they reflect real-time, incentivized trading rather than periodic published estimates. In this market, traders are directly betting capital on NVIDIA's B200 pricing, which creates a dynamic price discovery mechanism. Analyst reports on semiconductor compute costs may lag behind market-moving information or rely on different methodologies. Prediction markets reward accuracy and punish poor judgment immediately, whereas analyst consensus can be slow to update. Comparing the current odds in this market to published semiconductor analyst views can reveal where the market is pricing in information that traditional forecasters have not yet fully incorporated.

On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order-book mechanism where traders buy and sell shares representing different outcomes for the B200's compute price at the end of week 27. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The bid-ask spread reflects the current consensus and liquidity depth; tighter spreads indicate higher confidence and trading volume, while wider spreads suggest uncertainty or lower participation. Share prices range from near zero to near one dollar, with the exact price determined by supply and demand. As new information emerges about NVIDIA's pricing strategy or competitive positioning, traders adjust their positions, moving the market price accordingly. This real-time repricing mechanism ensures the odds stay aligned with the latest available information.

This market resolves around Jul 3, 2026, at which point the outcome is determined by the verified price of NVIDIA's B200 compute offering at the close of that week. The resolution is confirmed once credible public sources—such as NVIDIA's official pricing announcements, press releases, or widely reported market data—establish the final price. Traders holding shares in the correct outcome receive their payout based on the market's final odds at settlement. Until that date, prices may fluctuate as new developments, earnings reports, or competitive announcements influence expectations. The exact resolution mechanics follow Kalshi's standard procedures for event verification and settlement.

Several catalysts could shift this market significantly before week 27 concludes. NVIDIA earnings calls or product announcements revealing B200 pricing details would likely trigger sharp repricing. Competitive moves by AMD, Intel, or other chip makers could alter perceived value and demand for the B200, affecting its price trajectory. Supply chain disruptions or manufacturing cost changes might prompt NVIDIA to adjust pricing. Industry analyst downgrades or upgrades could sway trader sentiment. Macroeconomic shifts affecting data center spending or AI infrastructure investment would also influence expectations. Real-time news about enterprise adoption rates or major customer commitments could move the odds as traders reassess the B200's market positioning and price sustainability.
