This event tracks the hourly rental price of NVIDIA's RTX 5090 graphics processing unit for computational tasks during the week of June 22-26, 2026. Resolution occurs on June 26, 2026 at 4 PM ET based on pricing data from Ornn's compute pricing dashboard.
Resolution is determined by the NVIDIA RTX 5090 compute per-hour pricing as reported by Ornn (https://dashboard.ornnai.com/) on June 26, 2026 at 4 PM ET. The event contains multiple price thresholds ($0.50, $0.75, $1.00, $1.25, and $1.50 per hour), each resolving independently to Yes if the reported price exceeds that threshold. If Ornn has not published data for the specified date and time, the most recently available published data will be used for resolution. All values are denominated in USD, rounded to two decimal places, and reflect the pricing as of the resolution timestamp. Revisions to underlying pricing data made after the market expiration time will not be considered.
Prediction market odds often diverge from traditional analyst forecasts because they reflect real-money incentives and crowdsourced expectations rather than institutional research alone. Traders in this market incorporate leaked specifications, manufacturing timelines, and competitive pricing signals that may not yet appear in formal analyst reports. When consensus among prediction market participants differs from published forecasts, it typically signals either new information flowing into the market or disagreement about how existing data should be weighted. Both sources offer value: markets excel at aggregating dispersed knowledge, while analysts provide structured fundamental analysis.
On Kalshi, this market is priced through a continuous order book where traders buy and sell shares representing different price outcomes for the RTX 5090. On Kalshi, prices reflect that venue's order book, liquidity, and how traders price the outcome right now. The platform matches buyers and sellers in real time, with the current bid-ask spread reflecting the market's uncertainty about where the card's price will settle. As new information emerges—such as official NVIDIA announcements, competitor launches, or supply chain updates—traders adjust their positions, causing the odds to shift. This mechanism ensures prices remain responsive to evolving expectations throughout the trading period.
This market resolves around Jun 26, 2026, with the outcome confirmed once the event is verifiable from credible public reporting. The resolution hinges on the official price of NVIDIA's RTX 5090 compute card as announced or listed at that time. Traders should monitor NVIDIA's official channels, press releases, and major retailer listings in the final days leading up to resolution. Once the price is established and verified, the market settles according to whichever outcome bracket the actual price falls into, and traders' positions are credited or debited accordingly.
Several catalysts could shift odds in this market. Official NVIDIA announcements regarding RTX 5090 specifications, performance benchmarks, or launch timing would have immediate impact. Competitor product releases or pricing moves could influence perceived value and demand. Supply chain disruptions or manufacturing delays might affect availability and pricing strategy. Macroeconomic shifts affecting semiconductor demand, GPU pricing trends, or enterprise compute budgets could reshape expectations. Leaked internal documents, retailer pre-order data, or analyst downgrades would also move the market. Traders should monitor tech news, earnings calls, and industry conferences closely for signals that might alter consensus pricing expectations.
